My favorite is Scrapbooks.com. Click on the KMA outlet icon and that will lead you to their on-site catalog. Also try typing Scrapbooking into your search and it will also give you a large list. I also bought various scrapbooking magazines and they have sites listed as well. Also e-bay has a listing of stores. I tried to paste in my whole list of sites, but it wouldn't work. I started my scrapbooking with CM (*reative *emories). They are a great source of information and most of the consultants are very helpful. The supplies can be expensive, but I believe it is the best place to start and then view the websites to buy supplies based on how you want your albums to look. I still use both, but the CM tools and things are still the best on the market. If you do not have a consultant near you, e-bay has CM supplies. Check the CM site though, you can locate a consultant that way. Current has a division just for scrapbook supplies called Times to Cherish. They have great paper, stickers and tools. Joann Etc also has an on-line site. Michael's does not sell on line, but you can look at what they carry. Good luck, you will really enjoy this hobby. Carol

We are limited here, too. Hobby Lobby has quite a good selection of supplies (much better than Walmart, and their prices on equipment are about the same). However, the best here is a store that 2 fellow addicts just opened about a month ago. It's called Scrapbook Station and they have the prettiest papers, a huge selection of stickers by all the best manufactuers, a really fancy die-cut machine( for a nominal fee, they will cut your pictures in the shape you want), absolutely gorgeous albums--It's just paradise. Their papers and stickers are about the same price as anywhere else, but other supplies (punches, etc.) are really much higher. I won a free crop during their grand opening week, but I'm not going to use it until school's out--I want to stay all day and get the good out of it! i wish we had a Michael's around here. I hear they are about the best as far as chains go. Agree?

I too am considering opening a store, since there is not one for 40+ miles near me. I think one of, if not the most important thing is to have enough room AT the store to have permanent tables set up, so shoppers can crop at their own hours. I think it promotes sales, gets friends to crop and shop together and makes it easier to organize classes. As far as products go, a large selection of paper, stickers, templates, some of the cutting systems, page toppers, punches, scissors, etc.. A knowledgeable staff and flexible hours for working and non working moms is a must. There was as scrapbook store open here for a few months and they did NO advertising, no scheduled classes, didn't have room for even one crop table, had irregular hours that couldn't be depended upon even to just shop, and it failed miserably. I am hoping to learn from these mistakes. Penny

I know how you feel about the store problem, I have the same problem, so I have searched LOTS of stores hunting for scrapbook supplies at different stores. I have found supplies or heard of supplies being sold at the following stores: AC Moores, Jo Anne Fabrics, Michaels Crafts, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Hallmark, and any office supply store (Staples, Office Max, Kinko, etc.) will usually carry pens, some acid free paper, and they can usually order other items for you if you ask. CVS phamacies carry acid free computer paper. I search any store I go into. LOL Also most Scrapbook magazines (walmart here is just starting to carry them, but most large pharmacies carry them) will list stores somewhere in their pages. What state are you from? I would check any card shops also. Penny
