Just another update. Most of the folks coming to the East TN Mountain Madness Plant swap don't post here, so I thought I'd better come in and tell everyone what's up ! The Garden Girls will be at the plant swap from 12:30-1:30 that Sunday. You are welcome to arrive as early as 10 to setup, but no swapping until 12:30 to give everyone coming time to arrive. We have quite a few out of towners coming, Marianne, and some folks from Cosby and Jefferson City. I've had someone request information from Georgia, so who knows what will happen. This has already been written up in the Seymour Herald newspaper. They are asking that I do a story on it complete with pictures, so be sure and smile !! If everyone comes that is signed up, we are looking at 50-60 folks, if they bring the friends they are talking about bringing, we are looking at more. PLENTY of parking. A fenced in playground , swings, slides, etc. for your children. A pavilion with picnic tables, bathrooms and a little concession stand ( although you are more than welcome to bring your own lunch and drinks ). Any questions, email me at fai34@chartertn.net Thanks again !

Fran really I had NO trouble with either of them. I just use a shallow pan or plastic shoe box and sow on the surface and cover with vermiculite and mist daily I had them both to germinate within 7-10 days. I have grown many times. Black moundry I have, but would have welcomed more from tammy, my seeds that I started this year I already had plans for, but blue fescue you can winter sow also I did last year, but this year started some in greenhouse in August they were in gallon pots by jan. Second sowing which you are getting was Feb and they are now in 4 inch pots, but could easily go up. HMMM did you sow on the surface. I have found that with grass seed it is imperative to use pans and not plugs or divided seed start containers. Just fill a container with dirt and they love it. I did not use bottom heat for the blue fescue, but did for the moundry. Black mondo which I was looking for is just a black mondo grass. Thompson and Morgan has seeds I may try it is so expensive for plugs, the same for Japanese Forest GRass, but I guess I will have to bite the bullet in the fall. GWlolo, mine was mailed a week ago yesterday and still hasn't arrived either. But mine has to go through US Customs and that sometimes slows things down. The tracking number shows that the package is still in transit. Hopefully it will arrive today or tomorrow. ~Ann

The size is 49 1/2 by 49 1/2 Priority mail with deliver confirmation! As far as sending fabric that could get expensive in mailing cost some may want to send and some may not so my answer to own fabric is NO! Red
