WOW! Great question!! Up until about a year ago I went to Crops quite regularly. The things that I really liked were: ~the expensive items were there for us to use, so that we didn't have to put out the money for something that we would use infrequently ~at each class the hostess would teach a new skill..stencilling, embossing, etc or she would hand out a instruction/idea sheet for layouts ~she had all the other supplies right there for us to buy as we worked, so if we needed just one sticker or a die cut etc, they were right there to purchase ~she charges $15 for a 6 hour crop (6-midnite) or 12 if paid three days in advance ~because of the hours, no one brings children..which is kinda nice, as we look at it as a moms time out. ~we always get a break half way thru for goodies and coffee The things that I would be looking for would be: PLENTY of room to work..sometimes her crops get a bit crowded and that can be frustrating ~music that keeps you moving, not fighting off sleep!! ~the hostess that I go to has TONS of supplies for us to use, and there is no extra charge for using these things..she has punches, stamps, stencils, large paper cutters, crimpers, ( I can't even think of all that she has there!!) Its just really convenient to know that we don't have to purchase all these things, as she will have them there. Dear Kris, I have bought about 25+ times from there and have only had one person not come through with their end of the deal. The auction site usually will only refund your money of the order purchase was over $25.00, or at least that was what I was told the time I tried to get my money back. I lost $8.00 so they didn't refund my money as it was below their standard level for refunds. They did offer to contact the seller for me but they requested that I do so first. I know that most seller's will get put on a probation if they get too many negative feedbacks. I am sorry that you had this experience with them, unfortunely the scrapbook business is booming so fast that many people are trying to jump on the band wagon and not all of them know the craft or care about the people doing it. They also said I could fill out a post fraud report with the post office if I didn't get my item, that is an option for you too. Let me know how this ends. Penny

Several years ago, I went to a site in Oregon and bought a set of shelves like they have in most of the craft stores. All metal and about 5-6 feet tall. They made them there and not cheap but very well built. Went to order another one, and could not find the manufacturer again --guess they went out of business. But I have seen other shelves on the internet, just not sure where. I like them because everything is out in the open so easy to see. It could be if you contacted any cabinet maker that also deals with metal they could make you a set. Marie
