What was the last page you worked on?

Okay ladies what was the last page you worked on? Mine was the "fake" fourth of July photos. So far I have done 2 two page layouts on them and still have another double spread to go! I used a fire cracker die cut and at the top I cut out the fire works shots of the fire works exploding and put them as the spark at the top of the die cut. THey got really cute. Penny

I am working on vacation pics from our trip to Charleston. Right now I am doing Magnolia Plantation. They had the most beautiful gardens. You could also take pics in the house, which most historic places will not let you do. That's my project!

Just finished up my flower garden pics, I swore not to take anymore pic of my flowers but every time something looks awsome here comes the camera. Took some pics of a hummingbird but they didn't come out too good can hardly see the little guy. I scrapped them anyways.

Oh, Halley Rose. Assuming you just happened upon the whole scenarios, what an exquisite example of serendipity! The artists definitely know their horses. The arch of the neck, the muscular haunch, the frisky swish of the foal's tail. Icredible job. I find them somewhat reminiscent of those travelling cadaver shows, such as Body Works (sounds horribly macabre, but fascinating to any student of anatomy or others interested in the workings of the human body). Amazing. Haunting. How did they make the forelegs and hooves, I wonder? They look incredibly real. Thank you so much for sharing and for your diligence in making sure your pictures were posted. Burpee Laurentia (not hybrid) was a major disappointment for me last year. Sowed at the end of January, and they got HUGE inside, but there wasn't any flowers until August! I'm going to try just a couple of hybrid Laurentia Avant Garde, and then if they don't pan out, I'm writing them off! New for sowing indoors: Wahlenbergia Undulata (Rockbell), Ruellia (mexican Petunia), and Calibrachoa, orange. The Calibrachoa actually had a few seedpods, but I hear they are typically sterile, and any seeds should revert back to the original petunia form, but I'm gonna try them anyways. Any exotic growers out there?

Dear Pam, Please don't take offense, we, "I" did not intend for it to seem like we were disapproving of your book, or style. This was just our personal choice of how to do this craft, and I don't want you to think we want you or anyone else to change your style to make it fit into our "guidelines" of how we chose to do this craft. If you are a skillful photographer that is a major plus for you, and being so, your pages would need less man made glamour: you know stickers, dies, etc. I am not saying I do not enjoy looking at the photos of my children, or that I am not proud of them, I personally am just not a good photographer. :( As for your 19 pages, hey, I could be jealous of that too. Sometimes I wish my books were futher along so that I had more completed pages to look at. :) If we all did it the same, how boring, the pages would all look alike, and we would be back to those drab magnetic albums of yesteryear. Scrap that way that makes YOU happy and give me some good tips for better shots, God knows I need them! :) Penny

We had some mulch delivered in May and my 2 year old ds just loved playing in it. I just did some pictures of him climbing to the top of the pile and pictures of him playing in it with his trucks.

I just got my album (it is a CM passport tapestry album) and no I didn't so much get it because of anything but the fact I know I can get more pages for it when I get home.

I haven't started yet but I have wednesday off so I think I will get right into it all day. I will be scraping my pictures of my year in the USA so far. starting with me arrival.

Wish me luck I haven't done this in a while :o)

the last page that i have done was one of me trying on all the different wedding dresses that i have tried on. they look really good i mounted them on white before putting them on navy (my colors are navy white and pale yellow) and i punched out a strand of pearls to do "drape " around the photos. im still waiting on pictures from my mother of when my boys visited this summer.
