Elkay..it's better to wait until spring/summer to buy a Clivia on Ebay..most sellers only ship seeds this time of year. One seller in China sells green and variegated, good-sized Clivias for 15-20.00..normally, he adds Best-Offer, too. So, say he has a Clivia for 20.00 or Best Offer. You'd email asking if he'd agree to 15.00. Most of the time he agrees as long as the offer isn't too low. One seller has Golden Flower, 'Good Hope' for 8.99. That's not bad..Yellow flowers are pretty. If you sow seeds, it'll take about 7-yrs before flowering. If you have the patience, try sowing, if not, buy a plant..lol. Toni

skitter_2009, Thanks for letting me know that your gorgeous floors are Tokto Laminate Tropical Gingerwood. It is amazing looking that it looks so real and gorgeous. It seems that you have to buy a minimum amount (a Pallet) so I am wondering how many square feet are in a Pallet? I may call Build Direct and ask for a sample. Some laminates are so well made and really are gorgeous in the pictures I am seeing. I really love the changes you have made especially with the plates on the wall above the beautiful cabinets with the updated beautiful black hardware, the adorable "cookie jars" with the matching towel over the oven handle that looks so pretty, the beautiful island, the beautiful counters, the beautiful faucet, and the beautiful lamp over your table. I wish I had a window in my kitchen. The blinds on the window fit right in with your kitchen's new look. I am saving your kitchen to give me ideas when I am ready to update my kitchen since I have only updated my refrigerator so far but the cabinets have to be refaced or replaced but I can't do that now until I replace all the floors in my home first and the appliances that are all slowly falling apart but amazingly lasted so many years.

Lynn-I so love my bathroom and closet. To top it off it all has heated floors. My thoughts were-get out of hot shower on warm tile, who wants to walk on cold tile to get dressed?? Not ME!! My builder questioned me. I've had it on for about a week now that it got cold. Yes, I thought correctly!! As for no carpet in closet: For those of you who don't remember...I don't have a any carpet in this house. The whole downstairs is tile and the whole upstairs in wood except tile in baths. Sure I have area rugs but not wall to wall carpet.(Lesson learned- we put white carpet in the house we built 10 years ago-I learned very quickly to HATE carpet!!) 2 now teenagers, 2 dogs and 1 cat.
