There's another pond below those 2 in the pictures. I love my ponds too. The birds come in the summer and bathe in the channel. I love to watch them and the sound, of the water and the falls, is very soothing. That window frame was very easy. Had the old frame, added the box on front, painted it, and its ready to go in the garden. I cant wait to see it after it's planted. Deb

Walt, Loved your response. LOL!! I have a gum tree I planted in my front lawn 15 years ago. Until the year before last, it behaved itself and didn't produce those dastardly gumballs. I'll let it grow this summer yet...then the chain saw gets the sucker while it's still manageable for me to drop. They're pretty trees, and the fall foliage is spectacular, but enough is enough of those damn spiked balls! To the original poster: When you get to the point of having literally bushels of these damn things to litter your lawn, garden, or street (or all three), you'll wish you had never heard of this tree. On a mature one, the root system is vast, surface disrupting too, and extremely expensive to remove if thoroughly done. Hal

No water bills here either--private well. Yesterday we got much needed rain. I watched my gutters over flow and the down spouts gush. I just cannot see how a rain chain would be of any help, heck the gutters were of minimal help!! They are nice to look at but I think this is one sort of garden decoration that will not adorn my home. Scarlette, I have heard of States where they feel the government OWNS the rain. CRAZY!! I would hate to give up my rain barrel but I could not stand to live where someone tells me where the rain can or cannot flow!!

There's also this site. I haven't ordered from them, but had them bookmarked because they had some interesting colours. Sheryll Here is a link that might be useful: more ball chain
