There's another pond below those 2 in the pictures. I love my ponds too. The birds come in the summer and bathe in the channel. I love to watch them and the sound, of the water and the falls, is very soothing. That window frame was very easy. Had the old frame, added the box on front, painted it, and its ready to go in the garden. I cant wait to see it after it's planted. Deb

No water bills here either--private well. Yesterday we got much needed rain. I watched my gutters over flow and the down spouts gush. I just cannot see how a rain chain would be of any help, heck the gutters were of minimal help!! They are nice to look at but I think this is one sort of garden decoration that will not adorn my home. Scarlette, I have heard of States where they feel the government OWNS the rain. CRAZY!! I would hate to give up my rain barrel but I could not stand to live where someone tells me where the rain can or cannot flow!!

I agree on the Conferederate jasmine. In fact have been planting it a bit at a time on our wrought iron fence. I can't wait for it to really take off, plus I love the fact that it's an evergreen.

It might have been me? I have bought an OXO 1/2 cup silicone cup at BBB and a 1/4 cup silicone cup on amazon. I'll use these to put liquid into the drum so I don't have soapy lids to contend with. I don't like putting the plastic cups that come with the liquid jug dispensers because they are hard. I can't use a prewash and liquids in my used Miele because there is no insert available. It's out of production. I have been looking for part #1924250, the siphon insert, for my "main wash" section of my detergent drawer. This is to hold liquids in my used Miele w1918.
