I chatted!! Thanks to Debby who told me the right time! HAHAHAHA Otherwise I would have missed it. The chat lasted for around an hour and 20 minutes and that was the fastest nearly hour & a half ever! Was just a few of us, - Debby, Kirk & Carol (with Kirk hanging over her shoulder making her mess up HAHAHA), Jeanne, Smickerdoodle, and .... HECK!! who came in kinda late?? I was getting hungry - was lunch time for me & gorgeous outside and I was hankering to play with my pot plants - I have many that need potting up and I'm looking for places to plant other ones.... anyway I was just about ready to sign off when she came on... was it you Tennessee?? Shame on me for forgetting. Topics included: Snow Crocuses Bird Baths Looking for greening in a pine forest JT and Dog Poop A great time was had by all, although without the 'preview' spelling errors abounded - especially by yours truly!! The goumi continue to impress. They don't get out of hand. The robins love them and generally get most of them. Since I first posted here I have purchased two others for a shadier spot in the front yard. They are doing well also. The seaberry are another story. They root right underneath the surface of the yard, and have yet to meat a landscape timber or other barrier they couldn't master. Suddenly, one of the plants became very ill. I was totally stumped. The neighbor commented, weeks later, that he had a strange "weed" growing that took him several doses of roundup to kill. Aha! It came back some (it was over 6 feet tall when the roundup was applied) but new growth from the ever-expanding roots is a problem. I may try a large pot (in an attempt to contain the roots) else I'm done with them. Birds love them and they are tasty to me, but the pain of containing them is outrageous.

I clicked on the link in the other thread. The page is Java driven, so they have to make sure they have Java. There are two different Java downloads. So sorry that I cannot remember the difference between them or their individual purposes. If I'm not mistaken, there are Java Script and Java Runtime Environment, but don't hold me to those. I found it very confusing but was able to get them both downloaded. That was many months ago, so I don't remember. After you get them downloaded, you want to make sure to enable them in your browser. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab Here's a pic of mine

I'm beginning again after having lost my previous post, who knows what I did. Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It always shores up my confidence when you all like what I've done, even when I'm sure in my own mind that it all looks good. d_gw, in one of the "before" pictures you're seeing the summer bedspread which I bought not too long ago, but after some time it got colder and I had to break out the winter quilt. I was too lazy to use the winter shams, however. I painted the yellow silk pillow with blue acrylic and rust colors to make it look less yellow. I'm no artist, but at least it blends in a little more. I'm showing a close-up of the dachshunds, which for some reason have feet that look like flippers. Hubby has no explanation; he's usually much better than that. I'm adding a picture of a beloved dog and cat who have passed on and a duck that's before my time, as were the dachshunds. Notice the "flippers", cannot explain those. Those are not doggie feet! Nellie, my beloved dog who I hope is waiting for me. Casey, my sweet and gentle cat, now long gone. A feathered friend.
