How to remove old wet blown-in Insulation from walls?

Our roof leaked due to wind damage. Insurance sent a mold remediation specialist out to check. They were told to remove the wet blown-in insulation from home. It's old insulation, the house was built in the 1840's and the blown-in insulation is moldy and looks like mountains of lint. They won't remove all the insulation though - only what got wet from recent roof leak.

We want it all gone. There are two galley attic-ways bordering the length of each side of the house upstairs accessed from bedrooms and the insulation is in there, in the exterior walls. How do we remove this insulation ourselves? Is there an extractor vacuum type machine that could be available to rent? Where would/could we locate such a machine to rent? We've called all the rental equipment shops around and can't locate any such equipment to rent. We're pretty handy DIYers. We live western NY if that helps, near Rochester. Thanks!
