Flower photos

Just got back from getting my flower garden photos developed, and was so proud that most of them were not out of focus, LOL and I noticed how my peony bush in full bloom really looked good, when something in the back ground caught my eye. It was laying on it's side out in my back yard and I think it enhanced my photos SO well, and once again proved to the world that my photo taking abilities could use some drastic help. LOL It was the toilet from my mom's apartment remodel job.. LOL It added so much to the charm of the photos. LOL Now I can't decide if I want to crop it out or journal about it. LOL Penny

i would journal about it after all it is the funny things that makes your scrapbooks fun. i was taking pictures of the boys to put in my mothers scrapbook and i got em dressed like i wanted (this was a staged page) took the pictures and when i got them back i realized that there was a basket of dirty clothes in the background it was lovely lol .

Been there, done that! Now that it's nice out, I try to go outside to take most of my latest shots. I noticed in my nice picture of my son dressed up for his 6th grade graduation the scraps of wood and tools, ect. from a project we were working on were my background. The toilet has me beat though! History in the making!! Sherry

Yep, those are nice yellow blooms, SiDuong--thanks for posting! I gotta admit...yellow has got to be my least favorite flower color--but it's growing on me. I'm going to order some seeds from Mr. Ko and two kinds will be yellows--one with pink and one with prominent red markings. Mike in MN

I agree, clerodendrum bungei. Very beautiful, but the most invasive of all the clero's IMHO. I would not, could not plant it in my yard. I'd never forgive myself. Made that mistake on another property. They should be paying you to take it away. Sorry, Carol, I know it's pretty. Anna

gramma jan, did you check back on the daylily forum? Minnesota Morning has bloomed well for me in it's 2nd year and just threw another scape a few days ago. Janice Brown started blooming with the Stella's and is still going. That one did take nearly 4 years to really get going but then again I started with a very small single fan. I have some pics on my Picasa album, but they are pretty much single bloom shots, still it might give you some ideas. Here is a link that might be useful: flower photos

That is so funny Penny! I think the best "oops" in a picture that I ever saw was one a professional photographer took of my brother-in-law at his sisters wedding. The photographer posed him for the picture and didn't realize there was a picture of a moose on the wall behind him. When the pictures came it looks like my brother-in-law has antlers. I guess even the best make those goofs! I think it makes the picture priceless!

LOVE the toilet incident! I do stuff like that all the time so it's good to know that it happens to other people too! I'd leave it in the picture--definitely--and journal about it--considering how much time this remodel has taken and how hard you've worked at it--can't let a bit of that go unnoticed!

I'd leave it in and journal about it!! Otherwise you'll forget that that even happened one day and this is too priceless to forget. :)
