Thanks Laura. It will take me days to get thru all of these. Just glanced at them and the ideas are fabulous!!!
What a lot of imaginative people there are out there......

What you're looking for is a plant that will absorb the isotope, radium, rather than the radiation. I don't know of any plants that absorb radium. It's in the same family as Ca and Mg and one would expect it to have similar chemistry.

Building site security ideas

Hi Fred, We called a fencing company and had them put a fence all the way around the house. We just had a security guy out there and you can get a security system and run it off a battery. Costco had a wireless system with night sensitive cameras for $1200. Our large dogs are going to be sleeping in the house now that the doors and windows are on. Theft is rampant where we're at. The security guy told us that someone had just put all their doors and windows on their house and someone stole them.....scary stuff. It cost about $600 for six months to have the fence.
