Scrapbook/Ebay question

After looking on Ebay for stickers I looked around a little more at Scrapbooking products. I can not figure out how people can be selling huge quantities of brand new cm products and not be associated to cm. How do they get these items?? Many of them sell way below what we buy them for. I just don't get it. Can someone enlighten me?? Jewels

Hi Jewels...I ran over to try and answer your question...LOL! Actually, I don't have an answer. My only thought would be, that perhaps they were distributors and they got out of the business and are selling off their product? Are you sure it's CM stuff or just similar stuff?

I think a LOT of them ARE Cm reps!!

If you add it to your "watch" list, you will be able to see the time left for the listing. It really is small in size, isn't it?. Why didn't I think of that?? (Because I have the KT, and I'm spoiled.) Yes, it's awfully small, and faded, I'm sure. It would be nice to have, but for not very much money. I have some similar memorabilia of his. I have no idea what "lg" means. Certainly not "large." LOL I found it because I have a standing search request on eBay for any items that contain the word Luckstone, and also one for "Alice Campbell," my grandmother (his wife) and also an opera singer. A different Alice Campbell was a novelist from around the time time period, so unfortunately I get notifications whenever her books are listed on eBay. But no big deal. I bought another picture of my grandfather on eBay--not his most flattering, but an interesting photo. I also found a listing that claimed to be selling a photo of Harry Luckstone, but it wasn't him. I wrote to the seller, who ignored me. ;-)

What about one of the wesbites where you upload your pictures and text and then they print and bind the book for you? I think different sites allow different amounts of customization - you may do best with one that is specifically marketed to scrapbookers since I suspect you already have your layout and design in mind. But the ones I have seen have all had great image quality. As to your original question, take a look at regular papers designed for color printing with the type of printer you are using (inkjet vs. laser). 24lb would be your basic copy paper weight. Most cardstocks are 110lb. 65lb may be a happy medium that would have a bit of structure without feeling like a turning pages in a toddler's board book. Someone mentioned this earlier in a post. I just bought two of these and they are great! I'm hoping this will get one of my girlfriends involved in scrapbooking. Dee2000......eBay.com and do search on scrapbooking. Maybe just "scrapbook." Should see numerous listings. Can also look under Toys and Hobbies to see the many listing for all crafts.
