What about one of the wesbites where you upload your pictures and text and then they print and bind the book for you? I think different sites allow different amounts of customization - you may do best with one that is specifically marketed to scrapbookers since I suspect you already have your layout and design in mind. But the ones I have seen have all had great image quality. As to your original question, take a look at regular papers designed for color printing with the type of printer you are using (inkjet vs. laser). 24lb would be your basic copy paper weight. Most cardstocks are 110lb. 65lb may be a happy medium that would have a bit of structure without feeling like a turning pages in a toddler's board book. I would probably use foam board. Cut out the inner and outer shape you want, then put a piece of transparency paper over the top to serve as your "glass" on your window. Turn it upside down, fill it, put glue around the edges then put your paper on it and turn it right side up again.

Red, I didn't see your response. Yes it seems a lot of people do like the Priority shipments. I just don't need to pay more to have things here fast. Shipping fees are a drag as it is! I bought from the UK quite a bit a few years ago and they would always ship air, understandably I guess because of the slowness otherwise, and the possibility of things getting lost in a winding transit. But, it was quite a bit more expensive, so I'd go parcel post most of the time. Usually didn't take all that long. Added to insuring items, it just really adds up. And when you haven't even seen the item firsthand, well, it's just a lot of money on extras. Yes, it does look like some of her buyers have noticed the post on the package is quite a bit lower than what they were charged. So she may have thought I was questioning her too. Well, I have no control over her packaging and handling charges, but can request slow mail and no insurance! :) And dang! I did manage to get old. I'm not sure when that happened!

I've never sold anything on eBay so I don't know how to activate that feature. However, I have purchased a LOT on eBay, and I do always look at the items I'm interested in to see how many, if any, watchers are shown. I've never increased a bid -- before the end of the auction -- just because there are watchers. The only way having watchers has influenced me is if the items has a Buy-it-Now option. If it does, and if the BiN price is what I am willing to pay, I just go ahead and hit the BiN button rather than putting in a bid.
