Cute paper doll templates

I found the cutest paper doll templates called tracerkins. Made by the people who make paperkins. They are interchangeable. I like them because they come in themes-Beach, Party, Camping, Nighty night, school days and Hair.

Each template has the doll pattern plus clothes, hair, shoes,and the little things to go along with the theme.I never bought the paperkins in the package because I thought they were too expensive. Now I can make them myself. I am so excited. Especially since I just joined the paper doll swap.

Thanks Carmie2, I have it bookmarked on my computer. Someone asked me about printing some of those off here awhile back and I couldn't find my link for them. That's because I'm so darn bad at the computer it's unreal. (not funny- just a fact). Hopefully the person will read this posting and be able to use some of them. If I had a color printer I'd make me some of them. (grin) I did make some gift tags using them at my sisters house. You can make your own stationary too on that site and matching envelopes. It's a fun thing to do if you have kids to help make the things. They just love doing little things like that. Grin, oh did I forget to mention some of us older folks enjoy making pretty things too. I guess we could make those during the winter months when it's too bad to work outside. Thanks again, Marian

Oh my gosh, my kitties are soooo jealous of your Jack! Now I'm going to have to search the thrift stores for doll beds to remake for them. I have two boys and a girl. All well under two years old. I'll have to make three or Mollee our Mainecoone (as in very large) will lay on the boys if they don't let her have it. ;^)

We made dolls very much like this years ago....a styrofoam ball...make indentions for the eyes and mouth....shape a nose also...then we covered it with strips of cloth soaked in something like wallpaper paste. I think crafts stores have a fabric stiffener...when dry, paint and add features. We used smaller balls and made hands feet and legs also. Alas...I forget what the stiffener was called, but I'm sure you could go online or to a craft store and find it.

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum, though I've been reading the messages, new and old for several weeks. I've learned a lot. I bought a Colluzzle Doll template but can't find flesh colored paper. Michael's is the only Scrapbook supply source nearby. I check in on ebay periodically but so far, no luck. Any help out there?

You might try to find flesh colored paper by buying a packet at a Wal-Mart that looks like parchment. It is somewhat tan like. Good luck.

You might try the scrapbooking store, or you can look up Constructive Playthings- www.cptoys.com. It's an educational company that carries all kind of stuff for teachers. They have a package of paper that is for multicultural skin tones. It is construction paper weight, and comes in packs of 72 sheets of 12 shades, for $6.
