Flesh colored paper?

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum, though I've been reading the messages, new and old for several weeks. I've learned a lot. I bought a Colluzzle Doll template but can't find flesh colored paper. Michael's is the only Scrapbook supply source nearby. I check in on ebay periodically but so far, no luck. Any help out there?

Hi Mary Ann,

I've been lucky to find flesh colored paper at my LSS. If you can find a store online that carries Jill Rinner paper doll products, Jill's line of paper has flesh colored paper in Caucasian, Oriental & African-American shades.

I got flesh color paper at Michael's. It was a large piece, I am thinking something like 24" x 24".

Agree that the Seed Saving forum Albert linked is your best source of info. Check out all the "How-to" FAQs there. The general method for de-gooing seeds is a brief 5-6 day period of light fermentation with a bit of water added. Usually a mealy apple is a sign of an over mature apple. I had a few on my trees too. Next year, mark the date you picked them, and subtract two weeks to the date, so you pick a little earlier. If the tree shows signs of neglect, you can opt to prune a little of it if your allowed back in. There are only a couple of red fleshed apples, and because yours has a longish lobe area off the bottom and lower sides, its probably a strain from a Delicious apple culture. Some apple types do break down when heated. Here, I chose, and planted apple types that were suitable for baking and cooking, and still hold their shape when peeled and sliced for pies.

I found some a while back at Wal-Mart. It was a packet and had more of an antique look with also some pastels. Good Luck.

i get mine at our lss and walmart. i use either a peachy color or a very light tan. Micheals should sell it in the large sizes of indiviual paper sheets that they sell.

I got some 12x12 at Michaels( peachy) but I know you can also purchase it through Stamin Up.

I was at Wal-Mart last night and in the school supply aisle they have a lot of cardstock, etc. for computers that had a multi-pack(125 sheets) that were earth tones and a couple may work. good luck.
