A question about pantry space

How much pantry space do you all have? I am planning wall pantry cabinets and thinking about keeping the depth somewhere between 12"-18". I'm considering 2 cabinets, 30" wide, 7' tall with two drawers at the bottom and pull out and/or simple shelves for the remainder. I will probably store my rice cooker and maybe some other small appliances in the drawers. Baking items and most snacks will be stored in a different location as well as many larger bulk items. My pantry items are in odd shape corner cabs in my current kitchen so it is hard to know how much space I really need. I have two kids at home right now and another three that are mostly away at college. Does this amount of pantry space seem adequate or maybe too much?

Thanks for any ideas and advice.
