Javagirl, The ones in Kitchen and DR were in the house when purchased. I do know they were made and the fabric is called Burne by Kravet, color 612. Graywings, Thanks for your input also. I will be having a seamstress I know come out to the house wednesday and look at the RS that we have and make the same thing for the bedroom. I have chosen this fabric ( ballad bouques )for the bedroom. Now the room has been painted a different color from the shots up above.

I don't see this as such a problem. The valance and curtains are on a tension rod, so they can just be moved out. Roman blinds are typically mounted on a board using L brackets to mount it to the wall. I'm sure if the new window caused an issue, you could figure out a way to mount them to the ceiling instead and the mounting would still be covered by the valance. But more than likely you can just get larger brackets or space the existing brackets out by an inch using a block of wood behind the brackets. For the shade, typically they come with either an inside or outside mount. You may just need to get new hardware, or get a little creative with how to mount it for the new window. I'm sure it can be done with a few dollars worth of screws and brackets and a little inventiveness. You are, at some point, going to have to take it all down and see how it went together before you can figure out a new approach.

In my opinion you should cover all the window trim and just have the glass showing. You are trying to create an illusion that the windows go all the way to the corner and showing the window trim destroys that illusion. Definitely a pinch pleat is the most elegant , and the closer together the pleats the better. But then it depends on the rod you have or are thinking of getting. Whether or not you have a valance box and if you have an existing sheer already. I think you have to go looking or consult someone who makes custom drapes. Without actually seeing things or knowing the look you are after, I can only give you general advice.

I would think they'd be rather easy to hem shorter. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, you might stop by a local tailor or seamstress and ask what they'd charge. I bet it would be MUCH less than anything custom. If you don't know any seamstresses, your local fabric shop probably has some recommendations. Good luck!
