You will need to go to a photo sharing site, like photobucket or allyoucanupload. upload all your pics into that site, then copy the main forum real size photo code line that has your photo designation on that site. In this site, you type in , place img src=" and type in the photo code line minus any extra garbage (basically you have to use just what is in the photo properties; you can check out the properties on photos in this forum by right clicking and going down the menu to properties on the photo), and then typing " after the code and between the . If you remember everything it should come up. You will have to delete all the extra code that does not relate to code on the photo properties in this forum. For instance, it might have You can delete the top line and just leave a line like this between the and "" http://aycu17.webshots.com/image/49216/2003694011226225743_rs.jpg Place img src="http://aycu17.webshots.com/image/49216/2003694011226225743_rs.jpg" between the And it should work. Make sure the code line is from your photo and that it is complete.

Cup, I think the pattern is pretty and girly enough, if a bit busy. It's not what I'd choose for "formal", but if you have some Victorian style elements, for instance, it should do well. You can have any glass tempered. The big problem with cabinet glass (as I discovered to my dismay!) is shipping, especially if the lengths are long. Do you live in or near a city? If so you can call around to see if anyone carries your glass. I first saw my glass at a place very near my house, but then they couldn't do it for some reason (I actually think "crazy" was in there somewhere). The cabinetmaker's glass guy wanted a humongous amount extra to have it tempered. Benheim, online, wanted the same amount because it would have to be crated and shipped by common carrier (like furniture) because it was too long for a parcel service. I had a very emotional week whining about it on GW. One of our members here was very helpful. He found a distributor within an hour's drive of me. Also that this pattern is all made by the same place no matter what the name and who sells it. I was in the middle of planning to use my GC to buy it (wholesale) but transport it myself to the temperer, when the GC had the thought that maybe he should ask his glass guys. (Ya think?) They were coming to install my BP backsplash (mirror), and they carry it, so they could just bring it instead of anyone doing any crating. Sigh. Such a simple answer! If you can't find a local shop that carries it, it might be best to let the cabinet company do it. They're crating and shipping your cabinets anyway.

Leave it to Kat to take this idea south! lol Haley, you be sure to let us know how it goes, OK? And I'm happy to be able to provide you with an idea! Gayle, if shipping wasn't an issue, I think a KT swap would be fun, but doing it in person with local friends is probably easier and wouldn't cost anyone anything. I could probably do one of these a year and in a few years have my entire Christmas in the City village gone from the attic. lol I think one of these swaps is right up some of our alleys, those of us who like to scour yard sales and flea markets and antique malls..... And a great excuse to clean out the cupboards. Another benefit- you'd know that your things are going to your friends, not be marked up and resold somewhere, but to be used and appreciated! (I laugh when I see my stuff from the last yard sale in someone's booth at the antique mall, marked up 700%. I know who she is and when she bought some things from me and then came back the next day to return them, I got so annoyed. She really just wanted a partial refund and to keep what she bought, which I found astounding. I gave her ALL her money back and KEPT the items, I would rather donate the stuff than to play her little game. I finally started telling her that her purchases were final, period. You shouldn't have to say that at a yard sale!) Yeah, Moni- that worked out really well and was fun, too!

Ruth McDowell is very traditional and known for years. So it just means she isn't an abstract, modern art person. I have books and have met Ruth McDowell and would follow her style any day. Haven't heard of Ann Shaw but no reason I would.
