Ally99 asked "is it a bad thing to have the soldier fly larvae in your compost?" That depends on your goal. If your aim is to convert a given quantity of organics into as much compost as possible, yep, very bad, get rid of them; they eat way too much. Ditto if you really need to have hot-processed compost. But if you're trying to keep waste out of the landfill, BSFL can be great. They aren't composters so much as waste digesters, and they digest like you would not believe! So your bin won't fill up so long as they're in there. They eat things that can't or shouldn't go into a compost pile, are less fussy about carbon ratios than hot piles, and their end product, while not a stable compost, makes a good worm food. If I had only a single compost bin, I wouldn't want them in it; I want compost to use in my garden, not just a self-emptying trash can that happens to produce fantastic food for the larger songbirds and some treats for my red wigglers. Beautiful picture. We have several eagles in an open space near us, and a pure white falcon that hangs out at 2 of the golf courses we play. It is really something to see them in flight, but I have never gotten close enough to take a picture of the eagles like you did. We didn't have a guest room until recently. We totally redid a bedroom just for guests when a daughter flew the nest. We bought a new mattress, good linens, the works! I slept there one night when DH was sick and I didn't want to be near him. It was SO comfortable. Having stayed in many nice B+B's that's kind of the feeling I was going for, so the following were essential during to make-over: Very nice linens, plenty of good pillows, a good reading lamp, a comfy chair, an empty dresser, good closet space, a stack of clean towels (we now have a guest bath stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc.) We have had 2 guests and both said they got a wonderful night's sleep.

Oh, so sorry. Poor fingers! Poor YOU! Glad you could sleep. Ask your pharmacist for a Probiotic. Most will do. Better than yogurt, and yes, Kefir is better than yogurt, too. It's simple to just swallow the antibiotic, then the probiotic a bit later. This keeps me from 'the runs'.
