Well Rick, he THINKS he's a chachaua (sp?)....He really is a good boy...he can just fly...he'd never hurt anyone but it does scare the you know what outa them cuz he is so big... bobbi, yes it's almost been 2 years since Tony has been off of all meds, we did catch it early, because he was actually paying attention to his body and the warning signs were there...Thank God he told me...he has always been the one to ignore this disease and never wants to talk about it...so I was shocked when HE called me and asked that I schedule him an appt...whew... I use to have the electric fence because my female boxer, believe it or not would squeeze her big ole' body out them tiny rails...Boy did you bring back memories..LOL....I do remember taking metal buckets out to pick berries and being so careful about getting our body under the hot wire..only to touch it with the metal bucket...lol!!! It really won't work in his case because he absolutely clears the fence .. never even gets close to it....Amazes me that he is so big and can jump so high....I don't have a dog I have a horse...LOL I was thinking even if we do resort to the lattice, I can actually still plant some vines to grow up them...hmmmmm...And yes...if jim wanted a vacation, I know where he could come, I would have the lumber waiting!!..Oh and his wife is welcome too!!!...LOL I don't think you offended anyway, I know I wasn't and have used the electric wire on several occasions, and to keep the dogs outa my flower beds too, they do learn, and it really does not hurt them! Thank you so much for asking about Tony, he was diagnosed in 2003, and it was hard to watch your son living only because of a machine...it was a long hard road, but with ALOT of prayer he lived and is really a very normal young man...I know that you have been thru alot also in your life and totally understand where I am coming from. In my daughters case, is there any other agencies out there that help a single mother (besides welfare) she doesnt want to quit working, and her first child, Colby, his father actually killed himself about a year ago...he never worked enough for Colby to qualify for any social security, so sad..so we have always provided for Colby. She has applied for daycare assistance, yet there is a waiting list....she also has wick to help to purchase the baby's formula...I just wish there was some type of aide to help a single mother, when the other parent is deceased..... One more question...Im so sorry this is soo off topic, but I know the people here know so much! IF the father of Maddi (the baby) were to go to jail or prison, does the state cover his child support? or does she not get any help with her either? So far they have been seperated for 3 months, and he has given her a total of $400. and daycare for her alone is $550. a month..Soo many questions...lol..Im sorry, but any other advice would be so appreciated! OK. I am finding this too weird. I thought I was catlover. For some egocentric reason I was sitting here wondering how many posts I had made and another catlover showed up. Scary thing is that I have something to say. My son -- now 25 -- left college -- Amherst College -- unexpectantly in late October of 2001. We live half way across the country but had been there to see him that weekend in an athletic event. He was -- and is (he is my son) handsome, smart, and athletic. The Monday we left he dropped a note in the mail telling us he had to leave. He said he was fine. He would be home for Christmas, but we would otherwise not hear from him. I freaked out, emailing the world. He picked that up and called. He came home. He was sad. He, who was in his 2nd year, saw his education as a waste of our money. He felt he could educate himself. He worried that he was doing what society expected him to do. He was home for a bit. He worked with Americorp for a while. He sold pizzas far away and lived with a bunch of guys. He returned to college the next fall. I begged him to do so. I told him he to be anything he wanted -- a vagabond, etc., but please finish college. No expectations would be attached to finshing. He did -- he wandered through a a bit of an english major, a philosophy major, a math major, and he finally settled on geology (he loves the outdoors). He is very introspective. He fell in love. He says the best thing he got out of college is his "now wife." He finished college and taught young children for a year. He is now in an Ivy league law school hoping to work on human rights and consitutional issues as an attorney. Money is not his issue. Hang in there. I truely believe what makes my son a caring, passionate person is what made him leave school. Isn't retrospect a wonderful thing? Adele a/k/a catlover

Keep in mind that people can still lie about what they clean and what they don't... If you call and ask if they sterilize the equipment, I'm pretty sure they will tell you yes even if they don't. Also, it's probably hard for you to personally look for cleanliness. Most problems are invisible. I doubt swabbing a table or looking down a drain is going to be feasible. My best advice would be to use an established company and an established "technician" (or whatever they are called). Ask for recommendations from your friends. Even a chain place might be good because they may be 'more' required and trained to follow the rules. I'd be leary of a new, private place. I don't know how to get their health ratings, but if you can online, that would be a great idea. And, think of it this way... You're taking a chance any time you do anything... I would bet odds are greater that you would die in a car accident driving to the salon than you would die from the pedicure itself.

Chi knots are a pair of buns on the top of your head, often seen in anime. Working a lot of braids would be if I did a pair of braids off each side and then pulled them together for braiding down, or if I split up the whole ponytail into a dozen braids and then loop them up. Takes time to braid waist length. Or I'll finger crochet my hair, that can be a bit fussy. Sometimes I will knot my hair, with or without ribbons, in the fashion of fancy necktie knots. Grooming in a look can be creating a bouffant, pinning in a hairstyle- think wedding hair but not always that crazy. I don't use any products like hairspray or gel in my hair, so sometimes things need a bit of grooming in to work well. Complex jewelry can be jewelry. I have hairpins in precious metals, set with gemstones, chains and ropes of metal and beads to wind into hairstyles. Sets of things like a barette and clips to do a rolled updo, or a pair of sticks with a set of pins with chains that have crystals dangling from them. I have a sterling set with hematite wire mandala that sets of that dozen braid loop up. I have a couple blown glass hairpins that are also great to wind the braids around. I have a lot of hair stuff I've been collecting for decades, lol. I also wear literal jewelry in my hair. I'll hit up the jewelry chests for pins, ropes of stuff, a pendant to pin in if that's the thing. I like hats too. A thing about hats. Some are meant to be worn on your head, like baseball caps, cowboy hats, fedoras, most winter hats. Others are meant to be worn on your hair, your hair is a setting and the hat the gemstone. Like styling the hair in rolls to support the tilt of a 50's hat, or the hairstyles that go into ladies at derbies and some churches with their wonderful hats and facinators. It takes me longer to make my hair base right. I often pop the hat on a few times while doing my hair to make sure it will sit right. If I'm going to be using hat pins, I need to make sure my hair under the hat has a secure point for the hat pin to seat through. I have a lotta scarves too, and wear those in various ways in my hair. The leggings trick. I'm not even going to try describing them, going to let Youtube help me out. There are other variations of people doing this, but these are two handy shorts.
