Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Jangle.com has auctions where you can buy or unload. Good luck!

I agree..what started me off was an article in the "Star" three springs ago..I don't know whose bottles on the deck were shown, but I thought.."What a great idea"! I have been telling family and friends about this method..I get compliments galore on my garden, and everyone appreciates my sprouts, but I haven't had any converts. Sometimes I feel like Henny Penny..do all the work, and have other people reap the rewards. Why is it so hard to get people to give up the grow lights and then spend so much on annuals and perennials each year when this method is so easy, and economical!

Thanks Handymac; It must be where I live, because I did use Craigs List, just how you suggested and got many unwanted emails from crazie's & scammers, and when I included my cell phone, I got calls from psyco's at midnight & after...Almost became a police matter....don't want to revisit that.. I appreciate your advice, but it just didn't work for me....Not worth the anger over $100.00 in hinges.. I always liked this site.... moreso during & after I did an addition on my house.. Thanks anyway..I'll just post them in a new thread above . 218bee

The Garden Web is gardening site that happens to have some home building, renovation and repair forums. No member is allowed to make postings of a commercial nature. However, there are "exchanges" where members can trade (but not sell) plants and seeds. http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/exchind/

Thanks for this thread. I’ve been taken to task, and learned a few things here, while trying to work through some ideas and idiosyncrasies on our current build. At the end of the day, I think we all want something that works for our current situation, isn’t an ugly disaster, and can be attractive for resale at some point down the road. It’s a tightrope act, for sure! My “sins”: We walk through our master closet to reach the master bath. I have a lower level “drive under” garage, but also have a main level carport/patio around back, directly attached to my kitchen, should anyone doubt my ability to carry up groceries. . I have 2 bathrooms with doors to the outside, the master, and a guest bath. (Both exiting poolside.) Said guest bath also connects to my laundry room. It’s my way of minimizing the wet towel problem, and I refuse to apologize. Call it an overreaction, but I’ve lived for 14 years with wet people and towels entering my master bedroom or living room (the closest doors from our current swimming hole.) I’m over it. I may even put a fingerprint lock on the door into my master bath.

Pam,
I too would be interested in what you are getting rid of. I have some different paper that came in packs that I have no use for and would like to trade to someone for some paper I need. For example, I have some sports paper (not football, I need that one) and die cuts that I would like to trade for bike paper. Penny

Roberta- I would LOVE to buy and sell supplies on e-bay. But , is it as difficult as it looks? To me it looks down right scary!
