Are there any classifieds for scrapping/stamping supplies on the web? Got a few things I want to unload.

I only planted about a 30 ft row as our storage won't hold the tubers more than about 5 months depending on the variety. The best storer I've tried is a fingerling called Purple Peruvian but being small and a fingerling it is comparatively a real pain in the backside to harvest as the spuds are easy to miss while digging. My OTJ training was in FL working for an Extension Vegetable Specialist. We did many experiments on many vegetables over many years. My least favorites were probably watermelon and potato as they were alot of strenuous work in the 90+ degree heat with 100% humidity. Nothin like pitchin 40 lb watermelon in the mid-day sun to make one appreciate the melons in the market. The first time I graded potatoes was fun. They would come by on a moving belt and we would pull them by grade into baskets. After staring at moving spuds (while standing still) I went to step off the grading platform and almost fell on my rear, kind of like having sea legs and stepping onto dry land. Are all aloes classified in the Asphodelaceae family??

All Aloes are currently classed in family Asphodelaceae. Some references may still refer to Liliaceae but that is badly out of date. Aloes were first placed in family Aloaceae about 200 years ago, but soon got dumped into Liliaceae. The first stage in breaking up Liliaceae was to re-erect Aloeaceae, but note the new spelling. This bounced around a bit but eventually settled in Asphodelaceae together with Gasterias and Haworthias. There are also some less succulent but perhaps better known plants in Asphodelaceae, like Kniphofia, Eremurus, and Bulbine.

Thanks Handymac; It must be where I live, because I did use Craigs List, just how you suggested and got many unwanted emails from crazie's & scammers, and when I included my cell phone, I got calls from psyco's at midnight & after...Almost became a police matter....don't want to revisit that.. I appreciate your advice, but it just didn't work for me....Not worth the anger over $100.00 in hinges.. I always liked this site.... moreso during & after I did an addition on my house.. Thanks anyway..I'll just post them in a new thread above . 218bee

Pam,
I too would be interested in what you are getting rid of. I have some different paper that came in packs that I have no use for and would like to trade to someone for some paper I need. For example, I have some sports paper (not football, I need that one) and die cuts that I would like to trade for bike paper. Penny

I buy a lot of scrapbooking stuff on EBay -- just won another auction today for Fiskar rotary blades! I have never tried to sell anything but I sure bid on a lot!!!

Roberta- I would LOVE to buy and sell supplies on e-bay. But , is it as difficult as it looks? To me it looks down right scary!
