So far PepperPlate is a winner. I like the simple format...easy to read and navigate. With the 'add to Pepperplate' on my bookmark bar, when i search for an ingredient recipe and see something worth saving i just hit that on my 'bar' and it automatically adds it without copy/paste. No longer have the adds popping up. customizing a grocery list seems to be handy for us. If i stumble across a wadded list in my dresser from a year ago, it is about the same list. Plugging in all our standard things we purchase and have them organized by isle/type, might save us from missing something. (just realized i was out of corn tortillas for tonights tacos)....I'll just make an arugula salad and croutons for the warm smoked pork...rather than run out and waste the shopping time. Once it is set up and DH has it on his phone, he can scan the list when he stops on his way home.

I think the house has many things going for it. Newer home, geothermal heat, low utilities, oversized garage, lots of acreage, and space between the neighbors. Here are my thoughts on what might help. The outside needs bushes or plants. There isn't a path to the front door. I'd position a couple of large planters on each side of the front door to direct people's attention to the entrance. Plant some flowers along the front of the house so you will have bright spring flowers blooming once the weather warms up a little more. The inside looks alright but it needs a little warmth as well. I'd re-arrange the living room. The TV looks off balance sharing the table with the lamp. I'd move the table lamp next to the couch and put the floor lamp on the other side of the TV, next to the fireplace. Put the chair on the other side. I would definitely put something on the dining room table. Flowers or a bowl of fruit? How about a slightly larger rug under the table? Something that matches the chairs. Same with the kitchen counter. Home buyer's look for the most bang for their buck in the kitchen and bath. Make these look expensive and you will be more likely to get your asking price. I can't tell what is along the tops of the kitchen cabinets, but it looks like some type of autumn colored fake foliage. Can you replace this with something more alive and vibrant? Perhaps dark green colored foliage or large, attractive wooden bowls, etc. No patterns or anything too busy. You might consider getting some matching towels to go with the shower curtain in the bathroom. Dressier shower curtain hooks (silver) would make that grey/green counter pop. Replace that green soap dispenser with something that isn't plastic. A dish of decorative soaps and some nice hand towels neatly stacked next to the sink? I don't care for the flowers(?) hanging from the shower curtain above the toilet. Once again, the plastic. There is one way to brighten up the pics without waiting for a sunny day. Have someone stand behind you with a spotlight (buy at an auto parts store) and point it in the direction where you are taking pics. I agree with Feedingfrenzy: "I think your target market should be hobby farmers, horse enthusiatics, wannabe kennel owners, young retireees, etc." I would be inclined to try and target this market as well as those who work from home. Artists, writers, computer programmers. Is there a Penny Saver publication in your area? I'd put ads in newspapers in neighboring states as well. Especially Colorado. A store here in my town carries these. She has the letters but I'm not sure about the numbers. These are the back cassette with the metal punch on the top isn't it. I think she also carries the punch you put the cassettes into. Let me know if I can help.-Rhonda

Yes a sewing machine will punch evenly spaced holes but probably not as widely spaced as you'd like and probably not as visable as you'd like either I have done this often on material. Use a metal crochet hook with a sharp end and simply punch through the material. I really don't know if they sell them any more, mine were my grandmothers and I've had them for many years. You could try this. First sew a 1/4 inch hem. With fleece you'd only have to turn it down once because it doesn't fray. This would serve 2 purposes. It would give you a straight line so you know how deep to take your single crochet and enclose the raw cut end and give you a smooth end to crochet over. Then you could try a large darning needle to punch through, then enlarge it by passing a skewer through the hole. Do only one side at a time because the holes tend to close in with handling. If you have a cutting mat use it. It has the 1/4 inches marked on it. If not use graph paper(You can get it and print it on line.), pin it on and punch through paper and material. Then remove the paper and enlarge your holes. Use the finer or midweight baby yarn to crochet. If all this sounds like too much trouble, then do your edging and sew it on with a blanket stitch.
