Hey Melody, I dug out my "cocktails for two" book and the back pages are full of mocktails. Here are some recipes; Tomato Juice Cocktail shake together tomato juice, a good squeeze of lemon juice, a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a few drops of tabasco, a pinch of celery salt, and a shake of pepper. Strain and serve straight up or on the rocks. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a celery stick. Rosy Pippin Stir a wine glas of apple juice with a dash of grenadine and a squeeze of lemon juice. Top off with ginger ale and garnish with an apple slice. Acapulco Gold Shake together six parts pineapple juice, one part grapefruit juice, two parts coconut creme, two parts fresh cream and a scoop of crushed ice. Serve unstrained. Boo Boo's Special Shake together equal quantities of orange juice and pineapple juice, a squeeze of lemon juice, a dash of Angostura bitters, a dash of grenadine and a scoop of crushed ice. Serve unstrained, garnished with fruit. Cardinal Punch Over ice cubes pour four parts cranberry juice, two parts orange juice, one part lemon juice and ginger ale to top it off. Garnish with fruit. Hot off the Press aka Paper Pizzaz has several Disney books, they used to make (it may still be available) a paper book that was devoted entirely to Disneyland, and Disneyworld. They still do have several book titled "Mickey and Friends" "Mickey Playtime" and several Pooh books. Even your local Walmart should be carrying these, I know mine has several of them. They should also have the Mickey punch out books, one with Mickey alphabet, and Mickey and assorted characters. Walmart should also have Mickey and Pooh paper punches, usually kept with the rubber stamps, in the craft dept.. My daughter is a Mickey freak, so I have purchased all of these items at one time or another at Walmart, since I live so far away from a scrapbook store also. HTH Love Penny P.s. Sometimes if you call around to another walmart and they have the item you are looking for the store will ship it to your walmart. I recently found several Mickey scrapbook papers in a store where everything was priced at $1.00, so try looking for scrapbook supplies in all your local stores, you maybe surprised at the scrapbook supplies in other stores.

I stayed with my husband because I believe in love and 2nd chances." & I thought you are saying that he was fooling around with the mother of this 8 year old & if he was doing that while he was seeing you, then yes this child saw his parents 'together' at least in some way, unless they were so sly that they hid it from their own child. And even if the mother hates him & is not sad, that does not mean she does not let her son know how angry she is (anger is also a feeling that is much easier to express than hurt, so who knows if she truly hates him or is hurt he finally ended it with her and married you) but I'm sure the child picks up on those feelings because children are little sponges & know more than most people give them credit for. If mommy is angry all the time at daddy, of course it's going to affect how he feels about daddy's house & the new wife, baby, etc. "I think that it's good to be proactive and encourage my stepson to be nice to my son. If it was my neice , my friend son. I would not stand them to be nasty to my children." If you want to protect your 2 year old, then never allow the 8 year old to be alone with him. It's THAT simple. If dad refuses to acknowledge the problem, then it rests with YOU to protect the baby & make sure he's always in your sight when big brother is around. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a happy little family, but if he (the 8 year old) does not want that, it is going to backfire to force it. I believe he does know right from wrong & he has anger, resentment issues... maybe from how his mother expresses, directly or inadvertently. He is manipulative if he changes face when dad comes around the corner & I agree with Sylvia that is a dangerous child that does that. (reminiscent of "the good son") Lovehadley has a great point that leaving is probably not the best idea since the child only comes over every other weekend and leaving could place the younger child in jeopardy when he would visit. The bottom line is that unless mom & dad are willing to work together to find out why their son is so aggressive & deal with it, then the only solution is to never allow your baby to alone with him. Yes, he was part of the package as you & your kids were part of a package, but YOU and your DH accepted each other's package... the kids don't get a choice. He didn't choose the package so how can you expect him to accept you as you've accepted him. You are the adult.

What great input! Since I have a sweet tooth, I knew I was leaning towards desserts, but I agree with Martha who just pointed out, desserts are what make it brunch instead of breakfast. Although there are no vegans or vegetarians in the group, I wanted to not have more than one egg dish. I'm thinking of leaving the bacon in the quiche and adding onions and red peppers to the sausage and roasted potatoes. Plllog suggested using a more interesting sausage than turkey and I like that idea. Something spicy IS called for! Undecided about the pear mini-muffins. It would be one less thing to make. I don't think they add that much to the menu except a different shape and they would look so cute piled up on my little 3-tier pastry rack. If I do bake them, I'd go with a simple, not-sweet bran muffin with some chunks of pear baked into the top. The suggestions for adding fruit are excellent. I'll probably add the grapefruit and avocado salad. Although some would add ham and other sandwich makings, I'm drawing the line there because these are retired women; they don't eat that much. About the quantity and variety -- I don't mind leftovers. I can't say no to the gingerbread roll or the cranberry jello. These are from friends who really want to help. And because, leftovers!
