Very few products are made in america. From air conditioners, electronic's, car parts, to hand tools. It's the american way to outsorce, cut labor, and management and owners to rake in the cash. But, at a price of the american comsumer which soon are running out of blue collar jobs which what made this country great. Bottom line we can't compete with near slave labor that products are alowed to be shipped into this country with no tarriffs so who suffers? I think I don't have to answer that. HF and about 95% of all products are made elsewhere or there components are. I predict (Hope NOT) in another 10 years we will be 3rd world country and NOBODY will donate billions of dollars to our policktisions or maybe a dictator by then so they can steal it. If you got gun better keep it you will need it to protect what little you have left by then. What can you do Vote any policktision out of office that's been there more than 8 years IMO they are crooks and liars by then and are not looking out for the voter but a slim ball liar stealing your vote with there lies.

My best friend loves this stuff, and the wreaths. She has a bunch inside and on her porch. She sent me a wreath for Xmas in fact. Said the batteries would work about 40 days. And they have timers, so come on every evening for 5 hrs. But she does get all her's off QVC. I've not seen them in stores myself. I know those battery operated light strings stink, LOL. I bought a photo sensitive/motion activated battery led light for my front door. Mostly so I can see to unlock door. A motion detector light just not an option since front door light is suspended and wind would make it go off. I got it at Menards for about $10. It takes 2 AAA batteries. You probably would go through a lot of batteries. I only have to change mine about every 9 months but not a lot of traffic at front door.

Wow, you must have been reading my mind! I was just testing some of these. I have one of the Sylvania Linear Swivel right here on my desk (DH bought them for me when I complained about my office being to dark some times). Pros: Battery operated; not harsh light. Can swivel it back and forth so you can make is shine on the counter or the backsplash. Cons: Touch light. Have to touch it in a certain place but not hard. You can brush it to turn in on. Sylvania Golden Dragon; Pros: Battery Operated. Motion Detect and you can also dim it. Cons: Can be a little tricky to dim/turn off. Light is a little harsher, and pinpointed. Can't adjust the direction I would prefer something with motion detection. I am picturing myself with wet or dirty hands and I would not want to touch the light.
