renewing membership

Hello all..No, I haven't gotten my new computer yet. I am hoping this one will hang in there a bit longer..Keep fingers crossed..My question is? Got an e-mail about re-newing my membership on here, but can't find where to do it. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I'm not positive but I don't think you have to pay any more. Check on the computer help forum and there were a coupel of discussions about it.

Hi Bev-
My membership was also due (in Nov) and before I had to figure out how to pay it, they made all the forums free. Now - is that not the luckiest thing? I don't know how long they will leave these forums free, but it's a wonderful thing. Note - the home page for the forums is also laid out differently, but all the forums are there. Changes, always changes......but for the time being - this is a good one. I have a feeling things will change again, and they'll probably want more than the old $15.00, but we might as well enjoy it while we can.

I was wrong. I've never been so happy to be wrong in my life. I had 5,100 seconds of class. It was today. My last class ever. The biggest weight ever lifted. Hardest work of my life and only rivaled by the birth of my son. It's over. Well, I do a have a final, but I'm ready. And life at work goes back to normal as of tomorrow morning. Real live lunches for longer than 15-30 minutes, no leaving early and making my boss unhappy. Normal. No more obscure hours and juggling. Over. I have been crying for hours now. My eyes hurt, but it's the second best hurt I've ever had (of course LF is number one!).

Babka, thank you for your offer, I sent you an Email with a list of the ones I have, 20 total. I also enabled Email in my GW account . Smith, I had not read down to the DVD offer, was not looking for it. But I had ordered and received 16 older (paper) Journals from Mrs. Schroeder, all she had left. My problem is that I can not sit in my car, in a comfortable recliner at home or when waiting elsewhere with my PC and the files of that DVD. I also have no Ipad or electronic reader, do not plan to buy either. So I enjoy reading paper copies. Thanks for your comments! Bernd

Hi Marcy, Mike & Solar Storm Marcy & Mike, your journals were posted in early August as stated. They were mailed from the UK. I have just checked the database & see that both your subscriptions are for "surface mail" and not Airmail. Surface Mail can take between six to eight weeks. If you would like to receive your Journals faster then please select Airmail when renewing. I can assure you that your journals have been sent & are on their way. Solar Storm, as I don't know your name I cannot check to see if you are surface or air mail. If surface then I guess it will be along soon. After all, Sansevierias being such slow groing plants, they do teach us to be patient. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll all be receiving your Journals soon. Anyone with an airmail subscription on this list received theirs yet?? Regards Al

Thank you both for the info..I wonder why they send you an e-mail telling you to re-new and there is no place to go.Kind of strange...but, that's great if for now it is free. Guess we will find out eventually.

They went 'free" two days after I renewed....LOL..

(BTW, I'm finally learning PSP and AS thank to Mallory at the Kitchen Table)
