Question for Urlee

Hi, I just did the froggie painting the town tut( got accepted into Vixens Haven) cool group by the way, thanks!

Anyway I was wondering on the part with lassoing the froggies arm and moving it, am I supposed to delete the arm underneath. Not sure if this looks right:

That is the SAME thing I had happen so I asked at that group if a step after the lasso one, was left out.
The reply back was no but I think so.
So I did delete the second arm, keeping the rotated one and it came out fine. I had quite a time figuring out how to do it but managed to get it one way or another.

Raven, the scan with F-Secure came up clean. Thanks, Mikie. I highlighted and deleted all the files that were from partition D. Then I highlighted the 4 files from C (all were dated May 2005)and clicked to restore. A pop up message said they were successfully restored, yet they still show up in the chest as infected files, even after a reboot. That I do not understand. I think I will send them to Alwil to be checked, since I am almost 100% sure they are not infected files. I followed the file path on each one and found them in the proper places, so I guess that means they were restored. Tomorrow I will run another scan with F-Secure, and if these files are, in fact, restored that should indicate if they are infected. I think I've tried to make a mountain from a molehill, but that's just the way I am, a stickler for details.

Sounds like they don't use it anymore. Someone mentioned that in an earlier post. Peaked my interest because I've been using AVG and nothing ever spun. Hi everyone, This is very informative and from what I've read, it said nothing about removing IE7 and it makes sense to me that if you would remove IE7 and then put in IE8 and you didn't like it you wouldn't be able to go back to IE7 because you removed it. Hi Owbist, Do you have an external drive or second internal drive to which you create backups of your computer? If so the answer is quite simple methinks. Backup the whole computer. Install IE8 and test it. If it fails miserably, which it probably will not, then you can restore the backup and carry on as you were. If your version of IE8 is from yesteryear then use the link below and grab the latest version. Thank you for that information and thank you for the link to the download. I was thinking if the old wasn't good now, then I wouldn't want to download that one and start with a new one. Your link will be very helpful. No I don't have an external hard drive, I've looked them up but, didn't know which one was the best one to get or how large of a one I would need. I have flash drives but I don't think you could use one of those to backup a whole computer. raven, Thanks also for the xmarks link I will save that link in case I want to use that one. My problem would be trying to use it once I download it. Yes, by all means use a current link to the upgrade. DA Thank you I will do that.
