The music on the PC is in a folder on the hard drive usually in the My Music folder. That's the folder you would move to the flash drive, or external drive, hook the flash drive or external drive to the new computer and copy / drag the files / folder to the Laptop My Music folder. I am just learning how to use MovieMaker but found it does not support Midi Audio? What do I do to get a Midi song into MM? Do I convert midi to .wav and how? Urlee

Do you still have the original unedited/unchanged file saved somewhere. You should work with a copy, never the original. Just like pictures. That way if you mess it up, you can make a new copy and start over. From the original file, change it to an .avi file. Then you can import it into Windows Movie Maker.
