Problems with windows movie maker and other probs.

I have a bunch of clips that I'm trying to make into a movie. I converted them all into .wav files and they're all working in vlc and quicktime. All the files successfully "import into collections" in the wmm except for one. It worked in the other players like the rest, it's the same type of file yet wmm is saying: C:..Documents and Settings..Owner..Desktop..eight.wav could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted.

The file IS supported and how is it corrupt if it worked in other players?

And then: I made the movie without that clip, it's a .wma. Quicktime says it's not a movie file and when I played it in vlc and wmm, you could hear it but there was no picture.

And before that, when I dropped the clips onto the timeline to make the movie and I previewed it, there was no picture, only sound.

I don't get any of this since the individual clips play fine.
