Hi Marly, The tutorial could live on a hidden page on my website. No falling off the forum and being lost. I'd make it hidden because I'm assuming that we'd all rather that someone coming to my site shouldn't be able to cruise on over to the technical information (*especially* because it's not my expertise that built that info). That's why I imagined that there would be a "/technical" end to the address. Web forum members could access it without going through my home page, as well. If you want it, or anyway you could want this tutorial to be there, I could see if I can do it. This forum has given so much to me, I'd like to give a little back. thanks so much ya'll....i'm glad you like it! you could use old coffee cans, or any can with a lid, and metal pie plates or cake plates. recycling the coffee can is great, and you can find cake and pie tins at thrift stores and even garbage :D check freecycle! and you'll also be able to paint the can any color you want... i had a few bags of old tins that were headed to a yard sale. then someone posted asking about what to do with old tins, and after i replied....i thought "i can't get rid of these tins!!" so back in the laundry room they went! i got them free, or thrifted and they charge anywhere from 19 cents to 59 cents...i don't have a clue how they decide the prices, some tins the same sizes have vastly different prices on them. go make some! kudzu

To me, part of the fun in making a row quilt is deciding what the rows are to be, i.e. pieced blocks, paper pieced blocks, applique, a strip of plain fabric sashing or a strip of a novelty or conversational print. I've worked on a sunflower quilt, an Alaskan themed quilt, "time for tea" quilt, and others. When doing our round robin, the quilt owner first did a row, then explained her theme for the quilt and then each robin member did a row. The owner of the quilt sewed them together in the order of her choice and added (or not) additional rows. When I made the row for the sunflower quilt, I made it using the landscape quilt technique and included sunflowers, corn stalks, and a scarecrow. This was fun, my first Tut in PSP. I need to work with it some more, I am totally lost, LOL! I had trouble with the text and switched it over to PS to do that part.

Text was one of the hardest things for me to get the hang of in PSP - LOL I won't even mention vectors!!
Keep on practicing and you will master it.
