I didn't see who posted the stainless markers until I came back from the website (impressed. Karl, shoulda known it was you that found such a great product and at such a low price! Among other things, my husband is a machinist, and I can just hear him saying "you can't make 'em for that much". Packets of 50 and 100 are even cheaper (Say Karl, do you get the UV label tape from them, or is it an Office Depot item, I hardly ever use my labeler. For what it's worth though, aimeekitty, I would still come up with some label actually on the plant. I've had a terrible time with the dogs, especially the Boxer, pulling up tags. Not a big deal, but when they're in pots, you're SOL when they do more than one and the bushes look the same. You may not have dogs, but I can also hear the DH saying that he never saw them when he was raking ;-) Karl, I don't see 'on the' plant labels at Kincaid, do you have a good source for them as well? It looks like the double-yellow Knock-out that I saw at HomeDepo this summer. Both double-yellow and double-pink Knock-outs have a nice scent in cold weather.

Don't know how fancy a tag you prefer, but I like the Amekron aluminum tags. About 3" x .75". If you order direct, the minimum order is 500 & runs 11 cents each, but I've ordered them off of e-bay in boxes of 100 for ~.16 each, IIRC. They "emboss" by writing on them with a pencil or pen. I've got perfectly legible ones 15 years old. Big enough to write lots of info on, pre-punched for wires. Nice utility tags.
