uploading into photobucket

I'm trying to upload a animation into photobucket but every time I do, it shrinks. It's ok size in PSP and the size was ok on another group I post to, but it won't size right for photobucket. Is there another site I can upload to so I can post it here? Thanks.

Teri, I use Photobucket and I have never had that happen. The Thumbnail looks too little but when I click on it or post it, it's the right size. Are you using the correct URL and code (the middle one called Tag) ?

I think the text layout and the pic width being too large or not, is largely computer display dependent. My wide screen display with my display settings (within Windows) set at 1680x1050 with the above photos at 1000px wide, don't mess with the text layout for me. So, the same things will look different from computer to computer, but when possible it's always a good idea to try and make things so they don't cause layout or viewing problems with most people's computers.

1. make sure your memory card is in the USB port on your computer 2. log into your account on photobucket, and go to the album you want to upload your pictures to. 3. click on choose files, a list of places to upload from will appear. On mine It says removable disc E. Yours would probably say something similar. Unless your pictures are in my documents or something else, then just choose the right one. 4. On my computer a list of numbers shows up, so I change it to thumbnails, so I can see what pictures i want to upload. Click on the file you want and press open, and thats it! You can add you labels and tags what ever you want. Hope this helps! Can't wait to see some pics! -Jessica

unable to upload images to photobucket?

I just uploaded a few photos from our trip to NYC during Thanksgiving. I didn't use the bulk uploader and I got alot of errors for photos not loading. What I noticed different is if I uploaded to a generic album, ie PJFarm and then wanted to move them all to a new album specific to what the pictures pertain to, it use to open a window which would allow me to either move to another existing album or create a new one. I noticed it didn't allow me that option of creating a new album this time. I had to create the new album and then move all the photos. A two step process instead of just 1 step. Maybe I missed something? I also have ad blocker for Firefox but there is an ad streaming when you upload. Can't figure out yet how to turn off the volume yet. Julia

Teri, your animation is only 35 X 25 pixels which is very tiny. When you open your animation in PSP, be sure the top of the image shows 100%, that will show you exactly what size it is, or click on....

Image Information
Dimensions (for the correct size)

If you are seeing it larger on your workspace, you are not viewing it at 100%, you must be viewing it at more than 100%....percentage shows on top bar of image.

Hi, I'm back. I made sure it was at 100% and when I view it it is 280x210 pixels. It's only in photo bucket that it shrinks in size. Any other way I view it it is the size it should be. I really would like to post this as I think others would enjoy doing the tut. Is there a way I could e-mail it to one of you and you try posting it for me and see what you come up with? Thanks.
