Help trouble uploading with photobucket

I have pics I want to share but I can't seem to get them uploaded to photobucket! Just wondering if anyone can help. Keep in mind I am not a computer whiz, I know how to turn it on and off! Be gentle! LOL Oh not sure if it makes a difference but I use AOL.

1. make sure your memory card is in the USB port on your computer
2. log into your account on photobucket, and go to the album you want to upload your pictures to.
3. click on choose files, a list of places to upload from will appear. On mine It says removable disc E. Yours would probably say something similar. Unless your pictures are in my documents or something else, then just choose the right one.
4. On my computer a list of numbers shows up, so I change it to thumbnails, so I can see what pictures i want to upload. Click on the file you want and press open, and thats it! You can add you labels and tags what ever you want.

Tammy, It does make a difference, there is a problem with AOL and photobucket being incompatable, they do have instructions on how to fix the problem on the photobucket site. I have been using Internet Explorer to put mine on, but the other night I forgot, and they uploaded anyway. I would try using Internet Explorer.

You need to copy the 'HTML Code' and paste it here. If you just put your mouse pointer (cursor) on the picture, the codes below become visible. Then slide you mouse straight down over the 'HTML Code' (third one down). Left click to highlight the code, then right click and select copy. Then you can paste by right clicking again into the body of the 'Message' here. Hope this helps.

Photobucket embeds their address in the pictures. If you click on one, it will take you to the Photobucket homepage. To see someone's album, right click on the picture and select "properties" then copy the address and paste it in your browser. The owner of the album must have their settings set to public, or you will need their password.

You can paste it into the body of your message. Not the link part. Then hit preview to see how big the pic is! LOL I have to resize to message board size.

You're OK. The only reason you see them is because it's your account. Nobody else can see the private ones. I know it's alarming when you check and think everything is out there.
