Seems like the Early American benches that were everywhere when I was growing up. I think I would not pay more than $75, perhaps even $50 for it. Not because it isn't nice, but because they seem to be pretty available. But if you love it and have the perfect spot for it, have been looking for a long time and this is just what you were seeking, then offer whatever YOU feel is right.

I came across to this beautiful set of Chinese Gold Plated Jingtai-lan/CloisonnÃ© spoons and forks. How much do you think this set is worth? I heard about Jingtai-lan before, but I wasn't sure about the value of it. The seller set the price to $25 to begin with. My system warranty was 10 year parts from mfg. I bought an Equigard labor warranty, years 2 through 10 for $400 (may have been 410 or 420. I think your contractor is trying to reduce his cost. I believe that if you develop a leak after the contractor's warranty expires, the cost of refrigerant is not covered. PROs can comment on that. $120 a year for 2 visits is very reasonable. I would be more concerned as to what the tech will do during the visit. I'm paying double that. The tech was here about 2 hours, but I'm not all that happy with the service. May be looking to switch after initial warranty period expires. V

I absolutely agree wth Parma-- and for me I also factor in not having to shop and go to stores (which are never open the hours I am available) or wait the 6-8 weeks that is typical when ordering a piece. I won't pay grossly inflated prices (as is common in my area-- even for trash) but I also don't expect everything to be garage sale "I'll all but pay you to get this out of my house" prices for all that I see. My mom holds out for the totally bottomed out bargain prices-- but then she makes a "job" of seeking out bargains. It's even somewhat of a game with her. Not to me-- I just don't have the time nor do I get the same satisfaction from the "wins". You can't touch a well made upholstered chair for under $1000. Those chairs look to be quality to me and they are only a year old. I would jump at the deal if the style and fabric worked for me.

I like them and would of given $10 bucks each at a garage sale. I just had one over the weekend with mostly good stuff full of collectables and memorabilia and it was like fish for walleye but only catching bullheads. Would you Care to trade a Lou Holtz and 2 Jessie Ventura dolls (nib) for those planes?

I really like it, but I was thinking along the lines of $50 too...although I am not sure how things are priced in your area. I have been known to pay more than something is worth because I have really liked it.

He wouldn't even consider coming down on the price so it's a goner. After reading the comments about it not fitting the style of my house I think I'd pass on it anyway. See, why I need you. I didn't realize it wouldn't fit in. LOL

I've got one very similar that you might remember everyone helping me fit into my foyer. It's not exactly my style anymore either but I like a little surprise piece sometimes and this one for me has a history. If you liked it and it was in good shape I'd think it's worth $100.
