You can try Floral Tree Gardens in Pensacola. It's on Hwy 29 north of town and has just about anything you would want. Friendly and knowledgeable people there. Can't think of any other just now outside of Lowes or Home Depot. Good luck!

What did you end up doing? we are in same predicament 18’yeare later where I wish I could get a 3 br for 500k in LBI. I long to be by the water. i have a 5 and 8 yo. my husband and kids would love the pool. id rather be near the water, fishing exploring and escaping. but as my kids age i worry they will be missing friends and we ar geting busy with sports through most of June. my husbands job we could spend the summer there though omce baseball ends. they also currently attend a camp they love. but how long will that last. Will they love it or be missing friends? do i make decisions based on them or my own dreams. but the burden of upkeep of 2 homes where i could get a pool and still rent when we want to go extra $ to take vacations .

ole joyful here again ... whose life insurance matured at 80 and he collected it. He celebrated his 96th birthday last week. It was my turn to take sweets to the old guys' coffee hour at church ... and the minister brought a layer cake for my birthday (second oldest member). Renting what was my step-uncle's farnhouse about 6+ miles from nearby village and 12+ - 15 or so miles from city, my car was broken beyond being repairable over 3 years ago and lost licence 2 years ago. Hitchhike to village, bus to town. More than half of people giving rides are older females, some gave me numbers, offer to drive me. Friends said move to town, I like it here but soon health may require it, so am uncluttering house aiming for an apt. and hugely thankful that I can afford 2 - 3 times the rent - for 10 - 15 years or so, and starting from 96, that seems a reasonable timeframe.
