My Birthday Blocks

These are my birthday blocks for the Scrapmaster and Sunbonnet Susies group...I am thinking of putting borders around the blocks when I put the quilt together..I want to thank each and every person who sent me blocks, it was the most fun and Im hoping to have just as much fun this year as this last year...hats off to all who participated...Judy

I donÂt know the name of redroseyÂs pp star. It sure is beautiful! I do not know what IÂm going to do with these blocks. At first I wanted to make a king sized quilt and I thought IÂd put different colored bright sashing around each square and add a lot of black to make it big. But IÂm not so sure about the sashing. Maybe I should use black sashing and make a bunch of 6" squares (with bright batik stars) to use as cornerstones? What are your ideas? DonÂt hold your breath waiting to see how I quilt thisÂthis is my 3rd year in the birthday block swap and I have not completed one birthday block quilt! Maybe next year I should ask for the same thing, and then IÂll have a ton of blocks to make a king sized quiltÂ? Any ideas are welcome. Lola
