Can you tell me the name/manufacturer of it?

Is the 3rd pic showing the same floral fabric or is that one slightly different?

I like the colors in the first set together. They look rich and more complementary among all than the other two photos.

I think I like the herringbone better. I feel like its tailored look is a more interesting counterbalance to the floral. I really like the lighter slubby fabric from Sunday's post too.
I don't know if you have made a decision about using a fabric covered ottoman as a table yet. Weigh that in your fabric choices too, if you may go that route.

Laurie, all the fabrics and the leather are Smith Brother's so I am not sure of the textile manufacturer itself. The third fabric is different but similar enough that the saleswoman said it was the same. I told her that it was definitely different and when she checked numbers found that I was right. The first printed fabric is just an arm cover so I can't give info on it. The second print says Smith Brothers of Berne Pattern 285604, grade 26 clean code S.

Do you think the look is too blah? I asked a man who works for me what he thought and he hated all of it saying it is way too blah and boring. His wife is very artistic and has a great flair for decorating but she loves bright colors. I love seeing bright colors in decorating but I have always prefered a subtle and calming look.

I prefer the herringbone. I don't think it's blah, but then again, my family room is very neutral. But a colorful throw and pillows.

I'm going out of my comfort zone and painted the library persimmon and ordered a teal sofa. I'll let you know how that goes!

If you think it's too blah- you can do the sofa in leather, use the floral for a chair and do the pair of chairs in a solid brighter color.

I like both fabrics ... with a slight preference for the herringbone because of color.

ADDING: But, OTOH, the second fabric has the same texture as the fill on some of the leaves ... so it wins on subtlety points.

The floral is lovely! I like that style all-over design.

It doesn't seem blah to me but I started to second guess myself. There is another paisley fabric that I like but not as much as the floral that I posted. I am very unsure about mixing patterns so I don't think I could get away with doing the paisley and the floral. Geesh,I really need to decide as it will take six to eight weeks to be delivered to me.

What color are your walls and what is the floor-carpet color, hardwood, area rugs, etc.? It will all make a difference as to how blah (or not) it appears.

I like a calm color scheme, but would not want two brown leather chairs and a pretty much solid color brown sofa, too, unless you have some color/pattern in a rug or wall color.
Have you considered a stripe in the mix? Can be subtle or bold.
I think I would tire quickly of the fabric on the ottoman, but then I tend to use the bolder colors/patterns in the pillows, throws, art work, rugs that are easier to change out.

Lizbeth, the floors are hardwood sapele and I will be doing area rugs. This is basically a whole new room from wall colors to hardwood to carpets and furniture. I am not drawn to stripes and am concerned that two patterns even in muted tones won't play nicely. DH wants me to do everything in the brown leather but I nixed that idea.

Would your DH mind a darker chocolate leather armchair -- instead of a lighter one? I really see more of the dark-chocolate detail in your patterned fabric -- than the lighter one (could be just my monitor of course!) :)

Thank you so much teacats! He would be fine with a darker color but it seemed that this was the closest I could come to chocolate as the other browns seemed to have a lot of orange or red tones going on. I will probably be going back to the furniture store tomorrow.

I like the blue floral fabric the best. I think the softer colors and pattern will be easier to work with. I also think you need a darker leather. The slubby fabric will read blue on a sofa, so be sure you want that as your main color and that it will work with the sapele floors. The herringbone might be too much red for the floors. I like to use cool colors when one of the large elements in a room is red, like the floor.

I forgot to add that the reason I was looking for a solid fabric for the sofa is because it is tufted and some fabrics just won't work well. I wish I could find a stripe that I like but I am just not a stripey person. I also love tone on tone as you can get a pattern without it appearing overly busy.
