good question..it's not as muggy as yesterday, so might do a chunk of round steak in the oven...

I had planned to go to town for breakfast, but decided I didn't have the energy. So I baked some whop cinnamon rolls and put on some coffee. I just sat down to enjoy them.
Last night I grilled 2 thick sirloins. I wound up being the only one here. I ate a small piece and it was so good. The rest was wrapped in foil and refrigerated. That will be my lunch and probably my dinner for today.

Just finished breakfast.

Fried potatoes, cheese omelets and home grown bacon.

I had cheerio's for breakfast, and for lunch I'm going to have a tossed salad with fresh veggies. I think I'll roast a chicken for dinner. I'm making strawberry jam today, so I will have a slice of bread with the jam on it at some point,

Chicken and some salad.......not sure what else.

I had a 1-minute low carb muffin and tea for breakfast.

Probably will make a cold pasta salad for dinner, maybe corn bread.

I'll probably bake some tilapia, along with a potato and have some leftover succotash.

I'm interested in the tuna loaf recipe also.

I have family coming in from out of town to visit Disneyland so I'm just eating a light breakfast and lunch and then a big Japanese dinner at Benihana's tonight.

So far, we finished off a dish of assorted Danish pastries that we got yesterday at Costco. I'm getting ready to start making a couple of cherry pies (using my home-grown, newly-harvested cherries) to go to work tomorrow. One will be a little pot-pie sized pie, that I'll send home with a co-worker for his 2-year-old son. I used to love it when my Grandma made me my own pie. LOL. Anyway, will probably make us a pie too and eat that for dinner! DH wants some kind of snack for the NASCAR race that's just coming on. I don't know what that's going to be yet.

Haven't seen you for a long time!

I made a bread-maker bread and we had fresh, still warm, salmon sandwiches for lunch. Dinner will be grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes, heated in the oven with sour cream and onions and shredded cheese (flavour like twice-baked, only a lot less work!), and sauteeed cabbage and onions.
The last 2 pieces of carrot cake for dessert.

We're having ham, scalloped potatoes and fresh corn off the cob mixed with green beans. Watermelon chunks for dessert. Guess I'd better go start peeling potatoes.

I'm marinating a flank steak for tonight. It was half off at the grocery store because its exp. date is today. Good deal!

I also have the stuff to make an Italin ravioli soup which I might make later.

I harvested all my onions and have been dealing with them for a couple days. Chopped a lot of the greens and froze them. Took a bag of onions to our homeless center. Still have a small pile of onions to deal with.

Meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes, and peas.

After church I attended a 60th wedding anniversary celebration. I had a veggie sandwich, chips & salsa and pasta salad, followed by a piece of canolli cake and some punch. For dinner I am cooking some cod and fresh green beans.

Yikes, we just got an invite for dinner, and that flank steak marinating. I think I'd better cook it before we go since its exp date is today.

Cottage cheese with strawberries and raisins for breakfast. I had a yummy oriental salad for lunch. Dinner is up to DH. It's his turn to cook. Most likely some kind of chicken dish with rice and veggies. He really does make some tasty concoctions!

Had two pieces of raisin toast for bkfst and leftover taco pizza for lunch. Have no clue what to have for supper, but there's still leftover taco pizza in the fridge.

Actually I'm hungry for something sweet and there's nothing in the house and stores close around here at 5pm. on Sundays.

We bought fresh tomatoes yesterday--the kind that taste like springtime, so today we had BLTs. That is hard to beat!!!

We did go out to eat DS had loads of Steak amd huge Froed Shrimp and I had my usual mostly veggies at Golden Corral can't beat the price and good quality food IMHO

Had leftover one-pot spaghetti and toast.

When I worked the baseball concession stand on Friday, the hot sausages (fat, red, hot dog-like sausages) were all the rage. I bought some for dinner to see what the fuss was about. They were pretty good but at 220 calories each, not something that will make it to the table often around here. Also had sweet corn (meh) and macaroni salad (store-bought).

Blueberry Breakfast cake for breakfast; Carnation Instant breakfast for lunch and open-face tuna salad sandwich, cottage cheese with pears for dinner.

We had a family get-to-gether for our sons birthday at the nursing home. Took pizza down since that is one of his favorites. It was a late lunch, so dinner tonight was a bowl of cereal. Nice not to have a kitchen to clean up after Sunday dinner. LOL

Well, Glenda, I just mixed up your famous ready to bake for 6 whole weeks Bran Muffin batter. I always share some of the batter with a family member so they can enjoy them too since we are empty nesters these days and can't eat a whole recipe's worth. So tomorrow I will be having lunch with my brother, sister-in-law, daughter and grandsons. I will bring a container of batter for my brother and sister-in-law so they can be converts.

I would share with my daughter, but her son does not like the rasins and they are leaving for vacation in a couple of days. However, next time I will make some without rasins in the bran flakes so that I can share them with her and with my son too, whose girlfriend also does not like rasins!

I guess I could add a few rasins into each muffin cup when I bake up plain batter if I really want rasins.

We had 5 Guys Burgers! Returning home from a weekend road trip and it was fast and fun.DH loves the free peanuts while you wait too!

Had a b-day party for my son..lemon marinated boneless chicken thighs on the grill, red potato lemon potato salad, corn on the cob, French Baguette and chocolate cake with butter cream icing.

Had grilled cheese and home made potato salad for lunch. Then pineapple smoothies. For dinner, scrapple.
