We lost a place (Conrads) here south of Tulsa to buy plants, but Carmichaels in Bixby still has great selections even if they are a lot more expensive than they were 5 yrs ago. They were .59 or .69 per 3-pack when I started buying them but are now about 1.39 give or take a dime. For a flat they are a much better deal. Atwoods has a pretty good selection of the common ones and they are really cheap, but many appear to have been treated with something that slows growth. If you got them, don't give up on them yet, because it may take another week or two before they take off.

We just moved and needed a refrigerator, washer and dryer. Lowes (and some other places) started their sales early and I already had my new appliances delivered before Black Friday. It worked out well for me timing wise, but I don't know that I would buy super early. That might start the warranty running, I wouldn't want to store them, and there will always be another sale.

A dozen years ago i searched for the perfect bedside analog battery back-up alarm clocks. Big love as braun went china. Soft light, easy to read without glasses, a soft crescendo alarm , not annoying...perfect and satisfied...fast forward ten years. They did that itty-bitty malfunction as things do....soft night-light bulb died, etc. Replacements available but 75$ each now, lol. Not really 75 buck nice. Wake up to smart devices. Plugs, bulbs. timers. 4-5 things on the stove and in the oven...timers set without need to ever hand wash. Life changing... So I have a DH stocking full of smart devices. 😂 He turns on two smart bulbs every morning with voice command. No stumbling in the dark. A smart device holiday. Bargains.
