Thank you Sherry (Jasdip) for starting the thread for me yesterday. By the time we got here last night, had dinner and cleaned up, it was almost midnight. I was just too tired to set up my computer.

This is the breakfast my favorite Uncle made for us this morning. OMG! It was so good! He made poached eggs on buttered toast and topped it with creamed asparagus. What a treat!

All he did was make a rue with butter and flour, cook for a few minutes to cook out the flour flavor. Then he used a little of the cooking water (1/4 cup)from the asparagus, and some milk to make a nice sauce. When it was nice and thick, he seasoned it with salt and pepper to taste,then added the cut up cooked asparagus.

You gotta try this! You won't regret it.
