Your garden is beautiful. You must spend hours there to keep it looking so good. I love the bench. I wish my yard looked like that but the deer eat every little thing I plant that's not inside the fence. I caught one of them the other day when I got home from work. It was standing inside the flower bed in front of the house munching on my tipsy pots. And no, we don't live in the country. We are in a subdivision surrounded by other subdivision and we have a whole herd of deer. There are at least a dozen plus this one deer that is a loner. She is the one I caught in the tipsy pots. The dogs bark at her and she just looks at them. I think we could almost feed her out of hand at this point.

YOur yard is beautiful!! I need to take pics of our pond we finally had time to redo it and made it bigger and I love it sooo much...would go and take pics today but Brian has my camera in his truck (okay I left it in there on accident but it sounds better blaming him) LOL Stacy

Thanks for all the lovely comments and responses. I'm so glad you enjoyed the "tour". I am just coming in from the gardens now as the fog is rolling in. I basically live out there in the summer months, I just love it. I really don't see it as work, it is just another hobby. Almost all the plants are perenials and so every so often they get divided and I give them away. All the art gets put out in the spring and put away again for the winter, so I guess that's work, and yes I do all the art work. I have had the original upper pond for about 19 years and the bigger pond for about 5yrs I think. Once they are set up they are really easy to care for and an endless source of enjoyment.

I'm sorry to hear you lost some of your koi. I gave all of mine away last year. I had kept koi for 40 years. I sure do miss them.

Really beautiful!!! Thank you for taking the time to share. What kind of chestnut is it to produce such a beautiful flower? I have a Chinese Chestnut but it doesn't produce flowers.

I'm so sorry about your koi, I have suffered such losses in years gone by and know how much it hurts. I so love my guys, we have a bear visiting this year and it scares the daylights out of me.
