Thanks, Olychick. Yes, that's where I found it online. Plus, the description doesn't seem to fit the picture. The description says red (which it also is available in), not blue. And you can't buy direct from there - they're the manufacturer. I emailed them and they told me that I could find it at Home Depot, BBB, etc. (online), but I cannot. I like the rug. But maybe it could be a bigger star in your living room if you pull it out away from under the furniture and center it more in the middle of your great open floor space there, perhaps diagonally?

Since you are willing to paint, I would consider the color that is in the background in your beautiful drapes, as the dark walls make it feel cave like, your lovely wood is not noticed and if the walls are lighter, the windows and view may take more prominence. In regards to a rug...I think an overdyed raspberry colored rug would feel traditional, yet modern and also elegant. Room is not quite what I described but may give you a feel for the look with lighter walls and an overdyed rug.
