As I have said before I am not very experienced with FMQ. I have stippled some but it leaves much to be desired. I have been working on my DD quilt and did stitch in the ditch to stablize on the st. portions and in the tri angles attempted triangles. I tried free hand but found I needed to use a template and mark where I was going.I FMQ those. Now I plan on trying butterflies which she requested. LOL (I thought I could use my embroidery machine to make them but the one I wanted to use was too small)
My ? is it considered FMQ when you mark where you will be stitching? I don't believe I could even come close without some help as I used in the triangles. Any help is appreciated. Jayne
