Casey, have you ever visited the Strobist site? It discusses, teaches and gives assignments on off-camera lighting. Even though I don't have a camera capable of off-camera lighting (you need a hot shoe or strobe connection), I am currently going through their Boot Camp.

There is some wonderful reader submitted photography to be seen on the site as well.

Sorry this isn't too clear - had trouble taking it through the glass, but it's my favorite fish in the zoo aquarium.

This is a picture my niece painted~~~~~~~~~~~~ She is legally blind,and it amazes me and many others how she accomplishes these things.

Thank you Kathi....they do smell heavenly. Wish I could say they're mine....but, they aren't. These pix are all taken on the campus where I work. The local Master Gardeners plant and tend to the Rose Garden located on the campus. They are wonderful people and so knowledgable about all the varieties they have planted there. They were just on campus last week to put down fresh mulch and tidy up. I wish I had a thimble full of their rose expertise...again, thank you for your wonderful compliment.
