Tell me what I'm shopping for.

Probably Walmart, it's just about the only place I go, other than Shop 'n save!

To some this will probably be politically incorrect, but my fave is Walmart. I live in a cluster of two small towns with one Super Value, absolutly no place to buy even a pair of sox. Walmart is about 30 miles away and it is a super store. I wish i lived closer so could do all of my grocery shopping there. They have riding carts, and decent handi-cap parking. Dottie

I love kitchen stores, such as Williams-Sonoma, etc. For someone who doesn't cook much any more, it's fascinating.

I like TJMaxx. They always have different and unusual things. Better quality stuff too.

Walmart, Big Lots, Dollar Tree and other real Dollar Stores, Target Days of paying overprices for stuff are gone for me I have Target on the list becasue there are a few things there I look at ONly shop at Dept stores for some advertised things

We don't have a lot of stores nearby, but we do have Walmart, Big Lots and Dollar Tree, so those are my favorite stores.

Depends on the day. It could be Bead Paradise, Pat Catan's Craft store, Walmart, French Creek Fiber Arts for yarn......a rubber stamp store........

See, I can get myself into lots of trouble without even trying, and at least 3 of these are on my list for today!

sushi beat me to it. I've never been unhappy with ANYTHING i've purchased at Costco - now if they could do away with long lines....

Home Goods, Kohl's and Amazon

My favorite store is Green Oaks Antiques in Rochester, IN. It is one of the most inspiring stores. Just went last weekend for their Garden Party. They have everything from antiques to farm implements and bird house to garden art. And, wonderful furniture made from old architecture. I'd love to have a business like this! If you're ever in central Indiana, and if you like home & garden decor, this place is the best for unique items. Good thing, though, its a two hour drive my house!

No one's mentioned the world's BEST store?

Christmas Tree Shops (the discount subsidiary of BB&B) You never know what you'll find there, but you always know it will be at a fantastic price. I could live in that store.

For food? Wegman's, hands down.

Lord & Taylor for clothes and cosmetics.

I'll be the bad guy here, I love Neiman Marcus, love the sales. Second is Target, then Costco. That's about the only three I shop...except for the dreaded grocery store, I hate grocery shopping

Target for one stop shopping.

Another Wal-mart, 99cent store,DAV,dollar tree,commissary,big lots,.Like the other poster my days of paying full price for things is over.At my age it no longer has to last forever!!!

I think Costco and Walmart. I don't really enjoy shopping unless I think I'm getting a good value and I always feel that way at these places.

Penzey's Spices is my favorite! I've been to 4 in 4 different states...I somehow find them whereever I go.

Farrell bread store in Tulsa, at 81st and Yale! YUMMY bread!!!

To bad, I moved 90 miles away :(

wal mart has become my clothing store of choice not as good as it used to be but affordable. and they have for now my powdered chai tea.

MOM and POP stores. Friendly, reliable and honest.

CVS-I get lots of free stuff there after coupons and with Extra Care Bucks

Amazon-great for buying gifts and lots of things have free shipping

Bed Bath & Beyond-I don't go in there a lot but I like looking around

or WalMart

I miss the old F W Woolworths with their lunch counters. I usually got coke floats. They foamed up pretty big and I could never fully finish one. But I tried hrd!

To pick only one, probably Menards. I like picking up on their free after rebate items. Plus they have good prices on most everything else too.

I also like Walgreens. Surprising variety for a drug store and they get in some good deals occasionally.

Other stores that deserve honorable mention:
-Target: Has *really* improved in the past 10-15 years. Got to where I wouldn't set foot in there but now I go there often and they're really getting to be a force in the grocery business. A station found them WAY cheaper than Walmart on the variety of items they surveyed and they've surprised me with their prices. Plus I like picking up on their clearance sales.

Fleet Farm: Nice place to wander but it bugs me they want your driver license and a signed contract to use the electric carts! Not from me you don't get that there stuff! But they have good durable clothes at reasonable prices, best place around to buy car, boat or mower batteries.

K-mart: For certain things. Plus they've cleaned up their act in the past 10 years but have sunk so low that nobody realizes it.

I used to like going to Big Lots but they're not convenient to get to around here so I haven't been there for a long time.
