Aerial shots from the tiny plane we flew in while leaving Block Island: The Point Judith Lighthouse A sizable suspension bridge and shortly thereafter, what appears to be military planes at an airfield About midway through the trip the smaller camera that I used for these shots and in the underwater case while snorkeling, somehow got a piece on lint on the inside of the lens, which shows up as a fuzzy dark patch in all of the pictures. On many of the better pictures I was able to edit it out with a photo editing program, but it is a fair bit of work and it is rather annoying.

I was just lamenting that I have never seen an iceberg IRL, but reading that many Canadians have never seen an iceberg either made me feel better. A little. I've always wanted to see aurora borealis, too. Ah well, I'm not quite dead yet. ;)

Neighbor's cat which I think he said is a Bengal. He got it 5 years ago and paid $2000! Pretty kitty, but I would not pay that much no matter how rare. Adopt, don't shop.

A fallen tree in Hampstead Heath. The park is located in North London and the expansive area, covering nearly 800 acres, offers a natural sanctuary from the bustling city. This tree was felled during a storm two winters ago, leaving a hole in the canopy where it once stood. Photo by Kit Oates
