There's an air show at our airport this weekend. The bombers, Snowbirds and fighter jets are there today, and some are practicing. They sometimes go over our building....the roar is fantastic! Karen, it looks like the iceberg is photobombing your picture! LOL

Everybody's picture are so nice this morning.

This is a prototype sprinkler that I got at an auction. It says "patent pending" on it and I was told is about 70 years old!!

Gorgeous photos everyone! Alisande, Rocky's pose is hysterical -- so cute. Murraysmom, what a fantastic find!!!

I was looking for a photo to post and stumbled onto this... taken on an unusually still day at a nearby lake. Very unusual to see no powerboats there!

Murraysmom....I was sure I'd seen that exact sprinkler in a catalog. Googled and they have a kit to build your own. lol It is an interesting piece of ART!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us! i love weird objects!

Nicole, it is very similar to the ones in your link, but not the same.

Mine has vining leaves twisting up the main pipe. It does sit on the same 3 piece base that goes into the ground.

And mine has the blue glass globe in it.

It looks like the company in your link is using the same idea and branching out.

I found mine once, but can't remember the name of the company. I think it was L R Nelson in Peoria, IL but in looking just now, I couldn't find it. I can't remember if the company name is on it or not. I'll have to look later.

Murrysmom....your right....not the same. Just an artistic way to make your own sprinkler. They do offer a blue center glass object in the kit. Yours is cooler!
