Black is a classic! It's a timeless color choice. You do have to be thoughtful with other colors and finishes you pair it with but that would be the case with any design decision so no extra work there. Look for a high contrast color pallet to create a striking look. The recommendation would be to go with a white, greige, or gray for the majority of the body of the home and be sure to balance out the visual weight of the black with other black accents or another highly saturated color in the roofing, doors and/or hardware. I like your white, but think black would look good, too. It gets a bad rap now because of the modern farmhouse trend, but was actually what was commonly used on old traditional houses back in the day. I think tan would look nice, too: But these aren’t your house and before such a big investment, I’d definitely get mock-ups done to see exactly how black/other would look.

I agree with houssaon to remove all the shutters and keep the trim consistent. Instead, use landscaping to enhance your new house with much deeper beds. Trim those azealeas back to under the windows on the left. Add more well-designed shrubs on the right. Consider painting your front door a bright color and add porch bench under one of the windows or porch chairs with a table in the middle. Then you won't have to think about trim paint.

Its been a minute since I've sold or installed that line so I don't recall exactly what options are available, but in general I would opt for the sash reinforcement. They use a very slim profile which is nice for viewable glass area, but can get a little shaky as far a strength on larger, hung units. The width is more crucial than the height in this regard, however at 30" or wider, again, the sash reinforcement certainly wouldn't be a bad idea. The lack of a sash interlock on their hung units is another reason why it is advisable. Frame reinforcement on the other hand is less critical IMO, as the frame is anchored to the opening. As long as the quantity and placement of fasteners is optimal, frame reinforcement really isn't adding anything.
