My thoughts on the lighting choices, for what they're worth!
First, all are terrific, and it's a little hard to say which would be best for you because it depends on finishes in the rest of the room and shapes/styles. But this is what I noticed about them:

Restoration Hardware gives you the LEAST light (only 60 Watts) unless you go up to the 15" size, which is pretty large. It gives you the most light (150 W) if you can go that big and have it look right. In terms of look, I don't see a WHOLE lot of difference between it and the Kiclher, and the price is a lot more. So, unless you want the larger size or money is no object, I'd go for the Kichler of the two of them.

Personally, I like the Quoizel the best, but it may not suit your style. The silver finish, the concave curve of the shade and the curved rather than squared off shape of the bracket thing at the top make it feel a bit less industrial and a bit more formal. If your kitchen has more curves and less squares (thinking of trim work, cabinet trim, tile shapes, etc.) and the silver finish works for you, I'd pick it. It's a little different from most others I've seen and I like it for that.

More light!!! I don't always use a lot of my lights, but I'm ever so thankful they're all there when I need them.

I don't like the screw in the middle of the Quoizel in the middle. It's sure to cast weird shadows, and looks funny to me, like a bug.

I can't be sure about the Kichler on the right. I don't really like the proportions in general, but I think it would look great in the right space. Especially a narrow or crowded space where it might need to have the more overstated details to be noticed. There's something about the dished diffuser that bugs me, even though it's interesting.

The Restoration one on the left is clean lined and well proportioned, but doesn't have as much character. I think it'll look better from a distance.

Also, I seem to be seeing the Restoration one in my mind's eye in a kitchen open to a family room, white cabinets and white marble. The Kichler makes me think dark woods, zinc counters and eclectic, with tall cabinetry all around. The Quoizel, which I still don't like, makes me think stainless everything loft, all industrial and gray.

I can't choose between the Restoration and Kichler without seeing the space. The Restoration one is more generic, so I'd probably choose the Kichler just because. Sometimes a slightly wonky design makes for a much more interesting object, even if it isn't classically beautiful.

Okay. I guess I'm voting Kichler.

Oh! Unless you want even more light. The Restoration seems to be able to take more wattage.

The quoizel is my least favorite, mostly because of the screw pllog mentioned but also because the shape of the light looks a little ... melted or something.

I like the RH and Kichler ones, and being cheap, I would pick the cheaper one personally.

I like the finish on #2 best, but it would depend on what matches your stuff. I also like the shapes better on #s 2 & 3. #1 seems heavy to me.

Funny, I didn't even notice the screw in the middle of the Quoizel. I wouldn't like that either. But I do like the shape of it. I like the others, but it feels like I'm seeing a lot of them. The Quoizel is just a bit different.

This can be so stressful. I like the Quoizel also, but now I'm floundering on the industrial look versus the two chandeliers. UUUgggghhhhh.

Of the three I prefer the gentle lines of the Quoizel.

If not check out mtnrdredux's skinflint design page 1 - early industrial pendant or page 2 the naval cargo light if you can do copper and brass.

I keep coming back to see these lights.
I can not decide, but since this is the last thing you
want to hear I will vote.

#1 RH. I know the light won't be as bright but I
like the rounded shaped and the weighty look. It seems
like it would make a statement. Fill a beautiful
space and yes provide light too.

RH is over priced for what you get. Although I do have two of the RH Optic pendants I don't think I will buy anything at another so called "lifestyle" merchant. Just something is bugging me about RH and Pottery Barn and exactly what they are trying to sell/market. If I had to do it over again I would have gotten restored vintage fixtures but the BW would not let me spend that kind of money this go round.

I like either of the two other options with the Kichler coming out on top. Keep in mind that you are getting no real ambient lighting with any of these.

I much prefer the Quoizel. It has a much less industrial and much less nautical feel to me.

Ambiant or Task, do any style lights do both successfully or do I have to choose one or another?

Based only on looks also, I prefer #1. Love it!

I like the quoizel. I like the lines and the finish of it the best. The RH one for some reason reminds me of the light in the dentist office. The one they turn right into your face before they start to work. Or it looks like it should be in an operating room. It definately looks like it should be in a medical establishment is what I am trying to say I guess. I hope this helps.
