hi,

am finishing half of our basement, doing so for our kids,pre-teens, so they have safe place to hang with friends now and in the future. my dilemma is the cost!! this does not have to be the ultimate in luxury so i have included the estimate from the contractor who did our kitchen(which i am extremely pleased with-he is wonderful to work with)BUT i need some opinions from those who have been there on some things i can cut out that i really do not need. did decide not to put in bathroom to help lower cost. estimate is 21,240.00, wanted to be in the 17/18k range or so. my husband is going to do the painting which saves...ok here goes any advice is most
