When you see the white sap flow from the cut on remaining are of plant mist it to slow it down and repeat as needed for about two minutes or so. Mist the pruner in the area or ground too. Then dump out the water from the vase and add the amount needed to root the cut as replacement water PSSST note how I didn't tell you to take the gloves off did I ? When you bring the plant inside to a dabbled sun and cooler area with warm air flow you still have a drop cloth to pick up and area to reset as it never happened. WHEN ALL IS DONE and clean you soak the tools in a sink of warm water and bleach. With gloves still on going in sink solution for a rinse or two only then you can take them off LAST and drop them into the sink as well. The risk of technology changing isnt DISH's fault, its a guarantee. I find that imminent tech. changes is a good reason to lease a HD/DVR box from the cable company. My receiver has been upgraded/replaced twice in the past 2.5 years at no additional cost to me. Im not a DISH expert but I believe they also offer lease options on their equipment, you might consider that if you stick with them. I honestly believe HD and DVR technology is going to be changing at a fast pace for the forseeable future. The connections are changing: component, firewire, DVI, HDMI, etc. The DRM (Digital Rights Management)systems are likely to change with broadcast flags and other limitations. Bottom line buying HD tuner/DVR equipment right now is a bad investment IMO. That coupled with cost to replace/repair failed units Im happy to lease rather than buy. Early adopters always pay a higher price for the latest technology, although is not an easy pill to swallow.

I got tagged by another spike off an opuntia that I call Sid Vicious. I carried it into the porch and got tagged on the inside of my upper arm. . I saw one needle and got it out, but the other one, I missed totally. 5 months later I see a small white head in a tiny tight circle of pink skin, but it is hard. I went inside and squeezed and the white head got a bit bigger but was Hard, really hard, so I got the tweezer out and pulled and pulled and it came and came out further, and kept coming out. Never any pain. It was about 1.5" . It missed every nerve, muscle tissue and bone. It freaked me out. I felt like some animal was living in me. I remembered back to the other needle.
