How do I leave feedback on Etsy?

I made my first Etsy purchase this week. I've been looking for a small stone heart pendant for my daughter, to replace the too-large one I gave her a couple of years ago. I've been watching eBay to no avail, and tried other jewelry sources. Then I remembered reading about Etsy at the KT. After much poking around, I found this. It arrived today, and I love it!

I'd like to leave good feedback for the seller, but I can't figure out how it's done. Can someone help?

Hi Susan, I haven't used Esty before but I've been thinking of selling some vintage things on there so I just went and checked it out. Here is what I found. Apparently you should have a Your Esty area. There should be a list of things like favorites, purchases and the feedback will be in that list. Click on it and it takes you to Rate your Transaction and go from there. Hope this helps. That is a cute heart. Good luck.

Yes, just go to Etsy, login or sign in, upper right corner and then click on My Etsy. It should give you a prompt for the one feedback you need to leave.

That's a lovely heart pendant! And be sure to check Etsy frequently- there is a lot of talent there.

Well, the item he lost was batteries--Every Walmart has 'em. So they're not a hard thing to replace. He didn't lose the charger, just the batteries, so he says. I will definitely not be leaving positive feedback. And I don't fear negative feedback. With 500 unique positive feedbacks, one negative won't hurt me much. And I can respond to his feedback and folks reading my feedback will know the seller was clearly wrong. I do think I'll leave a negative and state "Seller says AA batteries were stolen, can't replace them?? Refunded money." It took him about 2 weeks to refund the money, so that's not really "prompt". There's no guarantee that he hasn't already sold the item. Maybe a "roommate" offered him $15 instead of the $10 I was gonna pay. Or maybe he sells under another name or on another site. Who knows? He did refund my money so I won't leave him a negative. Thanks for the input, y'all. NancyAnn

To see a complete list of all the GW and Home site forums, go to the top on any page here, and hover your cursor over Forums. Once you get to the list of GW Forums, it is listed under Rate and Review Exchanges The instructions are at the top of that page. You are to do a search on the member name in the search box found just below the list of threads on the first page. The search feature has not been working properly for some time, but if your trader already had a review started for them b4 Oct 17th, it will bring that review up so you can add to that thread. Hopefully GW will get the feature up and running soon and it will pick up all those that it won't find right now. I do wish we had a link to it directly from the Exchange pages! There is presently a suggestion for that at the 'Suggestion Forum'. Hopefully when maintenance is no longer an 'issue' with them they will find the time to get it added for us traders. Glad our advice worked out for you. One of my plants, a Bluecrop which grew well last year, produced lots of berries this year, but very little foliage and almost zero growth. Since I have other plants that more then doubled in size this year and should bear well next year, I will remove all flowers from that Bluecrop and expect that it will grow vegetatively next year. This is something you can do at any time in a blueberries life to spur new growth. On most blueberries, you can spur growth also by pruning canes, but in the case of my Bluecrop, it is tall with few canes and branches, this is the best method to get it to bush out.

It's so easy to do, just go to Etsy and log in to your account, then hover over "account" up at the top of the page and pull down to "feedback". Click on that and it'll show you what you need to leave feedback on and then you can click on the tab next to it to see feedback that's been left for you. I wish more people would leave feedback. I probably only get it from 2/3 of the people who have bought something from me.

I've been buying quite a few things from Etsy. I really like it! Most sellers will make custom items too.

I have a question. I've been leaving feedback, but the sellers don't/can't leave feedback for me? Like they do on eBay?

Beautiful pendant, I'm sure she'll love it. I've made a few purchases on Etsy and I've been happy with all of them. I bought a really neat pair of cuff links for my son. They're the mechanism from old watches with jewel movements - the prices really vary so we keep checking until we found one in our price range. When he wears them he always gets compliments.

The pendant is beautiful.

Lots of nice things to be found on etsy. My niece Meagen is selling some of her photos on etsy. I think her store is called Urban Pink Design.

I've seen the cufflinks before - they are really neat. I think they were coming up on the main page for awhile which is where I saw them.

I think the customer appreciation photo is one of you using or wearing the item you bought.

Last October I spent a week in Boston and while my husband was in seminars all day I was free to roam the city and that's where I find them in an antique store for over $200. Not at all tempting at that price. When I told my daughter she alerted me to "steampunk" which is a fascinating mix of Victorian, vintage, punk, industrial design, fantasy, romance etc. If you search on Etsy under steampunk you'll find some really interesting pieces.
